Situated within a tranquil, forested setting, this small farm offers a wide variety of animals, including pony, goats, ostrich, alpaca, and horses, offering a unique encounter outside of a traditional zoo. The environment itself is lovely, it is a nice stop within a botanical garden.

However, be warned: Timing is everything.

We arrived when the farm appeared unready and disorganized. We found no visible ticketing counter and had to wander a bit. Only some animals had been released from their enclosures. There were disturbingly loud cries from a ram that was clearly hungry, and the ostrich looked agitated and "hangry."

Bottom Line: It's a fun concept to see these animals in such a natural setting, but the lack of organization and the worrying signs of animal neglect or hunger made the visit less enjoyable. Hopefully the animals are well...

Went there around 12pm and no one was around for us to play with the rabbits, apparently we were told that the person in charge has gone to lunch and no one else were around to help out (there were at least 5 other staff lingering around). We hung around till 1pm, yet still no one.

Also for those who are not informed, it is quite a walk from the parking lot to the taman haiwan (despite them saying its only 300m, its a VERY hilly 300m. Not suitable for elderly or those with young kids). There were no shuttle bus on the day we were there as apparently there was a running event going on which they didn't even inform us when we bought the tickets.

Would have given 1 star but the staff at the asam pedas cafe were friendly...

Ticket for Adult is 3 Ringgit For Kids and Senior is 1 Ringgit

Don’t have much Signboards in Animal Park, and the directory only at Entrance. We are soo lost… Do have rabbits, deers, horses, roosters, swans/ducks and buffalo (But they seem unhappy especially Horses and Buffalo) Buffalo is so alone in his area… Some of horses are locked in their stable, the fans are decorating (not function) and bush of monkeys are scaring them around their stable…. The shops are not open… except the shop next to main Entrance Facilities are not well maintenance Found 2 guys fishing beside the pond… dont /see...

It's a fun experience because this is my first time going to a petting zoo. I was lucky that i visited the place on a cloudy day so it's not that hot and I was able to walk all the way to the zoo from the main entrance due to the weather. They also provide a shuttle bus if you don't want to walk, the walking distance is just around 300-500 meters. You can also rent bicycles if u choose too. Ticket prices are not pricey, worth the money for the experience.
