Complaint on Poor Catering Service

I am writing this with great disappointment that about your catering service provided were not satisfied during my wedding day on 11th May 2017.

This complaint letter is focusing on the poor catering service from your company. After the wedding event, many guests complained about the catering service.

Firstly, the stipulated delivery time is 5.30pm on 11th May 2017, but the delivery was only made at 7.00pm. This 1.5-hour lateness has not only implicated 150 guests at my wedding venue and the food have already turned cold. My guests had to consume the cold dishes. The spaghetti was served without the toppings for the first round. The caterers were not aware to refill the the empty food and my guests was assumed there was no sufficient food served and leave before the ceremony started. Hence, it caused a lot of food wastage at the end of the ceremony.

Some of that, a few guests even said that some of your caterers were rude to entertain when they are asked for refill. The most unacceptable is, some of our guests was observed your caterers eaten the confectionery (cake) while serve the food to my guests.

Thirdly, we had rent out a total of 200 wine glass for the evening cocktails session. However, due to the 1.5-hour lateness, our guests are missed out the cocktail session prior the ceremony. And because of the lateness, the pre-planned flow is haywire and my guests are complaint they were starving and waited for food to be served. Your poor service had messed up my wedding dinner.

On the other hand, the VIP table was not present to the agreeable standard which the wine glass was not even put on the VIP table. Additionally, some of the guests table was even empty without any cutleries on the table.

Lastly, whatever reason you may have given me for the lateness, your company should have a recovery plan, should the delivery cannot make it by the stipulated time, for instance the most basic courtesy is to inform your client when the food cannot deliver by the stipulated time. OR send out a second delivery van to deliver the food.

My guests have to consume cold dishes (no refilled for the first round) with no proper cutleries after being hungry for almost 2 hours. What’s more was that they have found the watermelon has tinge of sourness. With this late delivery, messy, cold dishes and spoilt dessert, this has made me difficult to face my guests.

In summary, we are extremely dissatisfied with the presentation and poor quality of food as well as the catering service...

Perfect Match Catering is truly a Perfect Match to our wedding as we celebrated it with our nearest and dearest.

Being the planner of my own intimate wedding can be quite stressful, but PM helped me ease most of my worries. I ordered a mini buffet, some family sets, pastry boxes and also a lunch and dinner buffet for my wedding. As you can see it is a long and tedious order, but it was as stress-free as it could be!

Working with their staff, Hasimah was a breeze! She was very responsive, friendly and patient with me and my many queries.

They have a wide array of interesting food selections for us to choose from too. Food is well presented, with clean plates and utensils. Spread presentation was also neat and professional. Our guests really loved the food, which made us glad because you’d want all your guests to LOVE the food on your day, right?

Remy, our waiter was also very attentive and helpful. He helped our guests clear the buffet plates very efficiently. Their setup was all punctual, so our guests could enjoy their food hot and fresh. It is very pleasing for us as hosts to be able to keep our guests happy and well fed.

I’m really thankful to have engaged PM for such an important event. Excellent staff, delicious food and systematic execution....

We were looking for a caterer for our daughter Charleen and Lee Tsein Hoong’s wedding. The representative fro Bays Water at KLCC Ping gave a list of caterers, her top recomendation was Perfect Match. After going through the positive reviews on them we decided to engage them. They had many packages for us to choose. We decided to go for the buffet dinner. Had the food tasting a month before the Dday, Yi Ling was there to assist and advise us as we were very concern of the food amount for 350 guests and for vegetarian guests too. She did suggest to include 3 types of vegetarian friendly dishes so that we do not have to specially cater for extras. Came the day of the wedding, the caterers arrived on time as they promised, everything was set up well and very presentable. I should say HOTEL standard. The food was well displayed and presented. The serving crew were polite and courteous. We received very positive feedback from our guests. Eventhough the line was long but they managed well. Food was plentiful, the bbq lamb was just enough, ice kacang and cendul was more than enough. Everyone really enjoyed the food. Will definitely pass PM’s contact number around.
