Anyone that lives in Kota Kinabalu must have heard about it before. It is a park that 𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 because of its 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀. First is the 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲. There is a marketplace at the parking lot that sells 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 and 𝘀𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀. By the way, some of them taste 𝗔𝗪𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗘! Next are the 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀. The park offers different sports activities, such as 𝗷𝗼𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗧𝗮𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝗶, 𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴. For 𝗷𝗼𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴, completing a loop will take about 𝟮𝟬 - 𝟯𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀. There are 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 that leads to the peak for 𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, counting from 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝟮 𝘁𝗼 𝟲. It is 𝟰𝟳𝟳-foot in height. It is a great 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 for hikers who are planning to 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗹𝘂. Read moreExcellent Place for Jogging and Hiking Activities, also they provide place for Taichi as well. The Hiking Trails are good for Training Purposes. There is a Public Toilet situated at The Starting Point and also one in the Mid of the Jogging Route.
However, the Beautiful Lake in the Middle has not been Properly Taken Good Care of. It would be Better if there is Constant Cleaning Work being Carried out Daily there, not just Focusing on the Jogging Track but also the Overall Landscape Area.
There is another Abandoned Kids Water Park at the other side of the place which is really an Eye-sore to the Overall View. Very much Recommended for a Whole Refurbishing and Upgrade Maintenance to the Park, especially the Parking Space. Which is quite Hard to find a Parking...
Read moreExcellent jogging trail. The place has several routes to the hill with different level of difficulties for those who are more adventurous. There is a clean toilet along the main route which is clean. There is also a beautiful lake in the middle of this park too and unused children water park. Nelayan seafood restaurant is situated in front of the park and one can have lunch and dinner here.
