San Blas Bay

Very beautiful and not too crowded place to go swimming! It even has sand which is a rare tu in Malta! It’s also the very first orange sand beach I’d ever seen! Definitely recommend this beautiful wonder to any visitor of Gozo but one thing you should consider is that to get there it’s a very steep and slippery walk down and then back up. It was a beautiful bay from above, but it is quite a long way down and quite hard to get back up in hot weather. There wasn’t really a beach, just rocks and some beds - don’t go if it’s windy as it is hard to safely swim in the water as it’s too rough. Road to access it isn’t fun without a quad bike especially the walk back uphill. The beach itself is pretty small, lots of rocks, so I didn’t find it one you can really relax on, plus the water was pretty shallow.
