It's true,it is just one of many view points on ghawdex/gozo,but it is a great one(as they all are :)) I went early in the morning and it was superb. Everything quiet,sun coming out of the sea,morning breeze etc, you know what i mean. You wont regret it.. On the way there,you will suddenly find your self in front of a small maltese naval base(with ramp,flag,check point..) , but don't worry you aren't of their interest :) , they also need a place with good view over the coast ;) ...
