Mark makes natural wines, vegan, no pesticides or other nasties.

Secluded, off the beaten track and rustic, family owned winery. Very welcoming, cosy and unique business with a lot of character and charm.

The owner and his wife are so friendly and inviting to the point where you feel like you are just going over to your parents' house for wine and supper.

They are very knowledgeable about wine and answer any of your questions without hesitation or bother.

We were also lucky enough to share this experience with an Italian couple and a Hungarian- all were in the wine industry too which was really helpful.

We conversed over our love of wine and travel which quickly turned into several deep and meaningful philosophical conversations about life and love- you would much expect from a conversation amongst friends and family over the wood fire... or, in this case, strangers in a foreign winery.

Organized a wine tasting a week in advance. Knowing that it was an Easter weekend we double checked with the owner in chat, re-confirmed. This was supposed to be one of the highlights of our 3 days in Malta (we're big fans of natural and orange wines)... Organized our entire day around this, rented a car... only to be greeted with a locked door and no one on site. After a few messages and phone calls the owner finally picked up and told us he "forgot" that it was Easter Sunday. And he's at home with the family. Just forgot to tell us... Very...

We came here with some friends to celebrate my sister's upcoming wedding and we're so glad we did! Mark took us on a really interesting tour of his winery, explaining the complete process of wine making. It's clear he was really passionate about his work! When we actually tried the natural wine, we were not disappointed-it was the best wine we've tasted! Over some homemade nibbles and wine, we had wonderful conversation with Mark, who was very genuine and insightful.
