Always a good way to spend a good sunny day at the park. Easily accessible by bus number 16, and close to Centra and Lidl (opposite the road, 2min from the main entrance and parking lot) for a last minute shopping. We are gladly coming back to the Children’s playground with our family. It is a good 10mins walk from the entrance, but definitely worth it. It offers engagement for all ages and has a variety of different swings, slides, including a sensory area for children with additional needs. The big swing and the view from the hill swings are amazing. It has a sand area and a Once upon a time wooden chairs area great for excursions and, for example, crèche outdoor activities. There's another parking lot close to the playground which is sometimes closed, depending on the occasion (concert etc.). In front of the playground there is a workout area, concrete football field and also worth mentioning, a sculpture on the top of the hill with a stunning view. Starting this year from May, there's a small seasonal train for children which is another thing to do (would require booking though, picture attached). There are toilets in the coffee shop close to the entrance and weekend's vendors, on the way to the park and at the children's playground. It has a good few big grass playgrounds ideal for football or any other sport or dog walks, along with a few tennis courts. There are a couple of running tracks. The coffee shop I've found to be a bit pricey, but regarding the location it's not. It can be crowded at the weekends, and the playground could require occasional queuing. I love the live music and vendors on the weekends, it makes this place come alive. Would highly recommend.

Marley is one of the great parks in the city. It’s even better if you can walk or cycle to it as the only issue can be parking. The main benefit is the space, even on the busiest lockdown days it was rare it felt too busy (apart from the paths). It really is a proper city park, with something for everyone. Nice little playground for the smallies and a great larger one that will cater from 3-10 (if not more) the Forrest walls are great and you have multiple routes to do a 5-10km walk. The market square is great when it’s in full swing with food m, coffee, treats and art & crafts all on show. On sunny days there are fantastic spaces to kick a ball, fly a kite or lay out a picnic. You can walk the fairy trail or have tea with the peacocks & budgies. Wishing the model railway was open for the kids but this lockdown can’t take the good out of this park.

I was here at the Guns N Roses concert 28/06/2022, the concert was famously , perfect ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... ‼️ BUT ‼️ It is necessary to ban the sale of alcoholic beverages!🚱 Very heavily dr'unk people 🥴will spoil a nice and expensive experience to other decent fans.🤘 This place is more about business 🤑💶💰than about people enjoying a great concert. The performance of the group, GNR, was famous👌⭐🎸🎤📢,,,,,,, but Organization, safety and comfort very bad‼️👎‼️👎 📌And one more big mistake: The podium is oriented to the west🤪😱💥, So in the afternoon and evening until sunset, the sun shines into your eyes 😎and you don't see much from the performance🙈. and 📷photos and 🎥videos are terrible!❌👎 Personally, I will never attend any more concert here!🚫🚫🚫

Majority will find this place infinitely amazing. A park known for iconic concerts, as well as beautiful landscape and trees. Me and the wife do our pregnancy walks here, taking notes of families, couples young and of wisdom age enjoying each other's company. I suggest you find for yourself, how majestic this park is. A part of Irish lives and traditional events, Marlay park is known to all. Bonus: Ice cream truck with the 99's, food and culture shops, public toilets, 😉👍 5/5 ⭐ As always, be safe and observe Covid 19 protocols. Be responsible of your own rubbish, particularly the disposables (i.e. Face mask/shield and gloves). Help maintain cleanliness of the park!

It’s about wonderlights in marly park. Highly disappointed not worth it all was soo expensive for just the pics i have sent it. Don’t waste your money on it rather go to dublin zoo for light show which was much much better then this in last year this year i have decided to go to marly park for wonder lights but not satisfied at all for this price. Not recommended at all. The park itself is really nice but i am talking about the lights beware don’t waste your money never going back again.there were some food stalls also but quite pricey and few swings were also for kids where you have to pay seprately overall experience was not soo good.

Marlay Park is a great place to spend time with family and friends. The park offers a variety of activities such as walking, jogging, cycling, picnicking, and playing sports. The park has two playgrounds for children and a dog park for pet owners. The park also hosts various events throughout the year such as concerts, festivals, and markets . Overall, Marlay Park is a beautiful and well-maintained park that offers something for everyone. It's a great place to relax and enjoy nature or participate in various activities. I would highly recommend visiting Marlay Park if you're looking for a fun day out with family or friends.
