We just returned from Baja and had an absolutely fantastic experience with Todos Santos! My family of four and our daughter’s friend was guided by Cesar, who was friendly, chill, fun, informative, well prepared and tuned in to our family’s needs - we couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

We spent two days at Camp Cecil de la Sierra for a unique desert mountain experience. We loved the white rock swimming hole and ranch experience where we made tortillas, made leather bracelets and checked out the farm activities. At night we saw two elf owls, a ring tailed cat and scorpions.

We spent three days at Camp Cecil de la Isla on Isla Espiritu Santo, which was the highlight of our trip. We boated all around the island and saw humpback whales, dolphins, and schools of feeding tuna. We snorkeled with a huge school of mobula rays, and spent time just cruising around the beautiful islands searching for animals and enjoying the natural beauty. We swam, snorkeled and kayaked around the beautiful bay right in front of the camp. The highlight for me was snorkeling with the sea lions and then scuba diving with them, where I had a sea lion playfully ‘bite’ my hand - no pain, just fun, like a giant friendly dog! Our camp mates were from Spain, Venezuela and Mexico so we had fun with the other guests in the evening. The food was absolutely amazing. We were shocked that such incredible gourmet food and drinks could be prepared right on the beach in the kitchen tent.

We spent two days in Todos Santos exploring the town, checking out art and buying souvenirs. We did a taco crawl for some amazing tacos and took a gourmet Mexican cooking class at the Hotel California. All fun and delicious! The hotel pool was also a highlight, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

We spent the last two days in San Jose del Cabo exploring the art galleries and souvenir shops, eating Mexican food. We did a shark safari out into the ocean where we snorkeled with blue sharks and mako sharks – up close and personal! My son and I dirt biked in the desert mountains right down to the Sea of Cortez for an epic off-road experience.

All in, this was a very well organized, fun, unique and adventurous trip that got us up close and personal with amazing wildlife and out doors in gorgeous and wild natural settings, while teaching us a lot about Mexican culture, people and food, all while having a ton of fun. I can’t recommend Todos Santos enough for an authentic, memorable and exciting Mexican...

First of all, from a credibility standpoint, I have traveled and backpacked around the world. I have experienced EVERY kind of tour in existence, including adventure, history, and even the Sound of Music movie tour in Salzburg, Austria. With that being said, please take my review into serious consideration because this is the very best tour company you will find in the area, coming from a world traveler that knows what I am talking about! If you find a listing for Todos Santos Eco Adventures (TSEA) and if they offer the tour you want, look no further! You can trust this tour company with no funny business but only a day focused on you and your family if your family is touring with you on the day of your visit. The communication to set up this tour was both thorough and professional with exact answers to several questions. And perhaps most importantly, with our tour, the leader of our personal excursion was Hernando who happens to know everything about wildlife in the Baja Peninsula. He never paused with what might have felt like hundreds of questions on my end. He was extremely kind and patient with both me and my wife! As southerners on vacation, sometimes we truly are never in a rush strolling at our own pace. However, put simply, as far as I can remember back with other tours in the United States and other countries abroad as well, Hernando is the best day guide I may have ever had! He excelled and exceeded my expectations on every front! You would be fortunate to have him as your guide for a day if he is available on what appears to be a very busy calendar! In the future, my wife and I, Lisa, are hoping to take part in the glamping experience offered in the National Park of Espiritu Santo, and we would gladly come back to Cabo San Lucas and Todos Santos to adventure with TSEA again, maybe even with multiple trips, especially if Hernando were to show us around again. To Hernando and the rest of the staff at TSEA, thank you for all you did for my family on this excursion! It was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity that we will never forget! With my sincerest regards and thank you’s,...

ONCE IN A LIFE TIME EXPERIENCE!!!! My wife and I just fulfilled one of our dream/bucket list things to do, which was swimming with the whale sharks. It was absolutely amazing in every way. They don't want you to touch the sharks, because they really do care about the animals and the environment, but you are so close you could easily pet one. Back to the environment, the driver of the boat even stopped for a second to pick up a styrofoam cup that was floating while we were driving to another destination. We then went on to swim with the sea lions. They are a playful rowdy bunch and a riot to watch. We saw a mother nursing her baby. I actually was doing flips with one and we were looking eye to eye. We ended up at one point stopping at their little beach where they have tents and all you can do activities (hiking, kayaking, all the stuff we did ...). It is a separate experience from what we did but we had some time and the guests went home who were on the beach. Tents is an understatement, BEAUTIFUL, even the sand looked decadent. We met the chef who has traveled around the world, who made us snacks that were to die for. They power it all (kitchen, freezer...), with several solar panels. Saving the best for last is Hernando. He is truly an amazing person and it wasn't just to do his job. He was incredibly friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and just a great person to share the experience with. I can not even put into words how GREAT he was. Another amazing thing about this company is that they truly take care of their employees, health care, financially... They all spoke very highly of the company and said they really feel happy doing what they are doing. WOW, couldn't be better. Hernando...

We have been all over the world with all kinds of companies, and this one is and always will be one of our most favorite and cherished trips of a lifetime! We had the most amazing and unforgettable time at Camp Cecil. What a fantastic operation and experience! Paulina was an exceptional guide, all of the staff were so kind, friendly, helpful, accommodating, and fun to be around. The food was unbelievably fantastic (we couldn't believe how creative and delicious every single thing we ate was and what the staff were able to come up with in a remote camp), we had the best weather every single day, the tents were fantastic, the bathrooms were super nice, and of course the experiences we had were the absolute best. Literally everything was perfect and I was so impressed with every single step of the experience. We had so many special experiences...watching the hundreds of fiddler crabs, nesting fridge birds, seeing sea turtles feeding, spotting a very rare toad on our hike, taking our son snorkeling for the first time, kayaking through the mangroves as the tide was rushing in, and the next day some adventurous kayaking through some very fun waves around the big rocky cliffside seen from the camp, a sea turtle popping up to say hi while we were kayaking, watching tons of little pufferfish curiously swimming around our feet right by the beach at high tide, watching and swimming with the sea lions, the list goes on and on. Thank you, thank you! We are already dreaming about when we can do this trip again!

This month, we enjoyed a wonderful day hosted by Mau, on the Sea of Cortez kayak tour. Starting with the pickup at our hotel, including another couple who we thoroughly also enjoyed, we had a great time. the drive is long but the dialogue so fascinating, learning about everything from this wonderful, committed guide. Mau has been guiding with TSEA for 16 years and as a loyal citizen of the earth, shares so much about Mexico, and all there is to learn whether about the park, the birds, the country or the expertise of paddling. The birds were abundant, and the kayaking only became a little rough with the odd boat waves. Mau taught us how to paddle into the wave and enjoy the ride. we learned how to wear a kayak skirt which was new for us. BRING: wide brim hat with chin strap. wear your bathing suit but bring a sarong or shorts in a wet bag to wear at lunch. we stopped for a lunch that incredibly was carried inside the kayak, patio umbrellas, tables and all. cold delicious beach lunch of ceviche, tortilla chips, guacamole, dessert and soda pop. we brought our own water, but we do stop half way on the road trip to use the facilities, and can buy water at the convenience store. We recommend this tour. It is a long drive from Todos Santos to get there but great conversation makes the road trip well worth it. Now we can check the Sea of Cortez off our bucket list thanks to Mau and TSEA

We just came back from the Swimming with Sea Lions tour, and it was incredible! Our guide Sebastian was so informative and passionate about marine life in the Sea of Cortez, having studied marine biology himself. The trip was flawless. He picked us up from our hotel in Todos Santos in a comfortable, AC van. The trip to La Paz was beautiful. We picked up our gear in La Paz and boarded a boat that took us to the Sea Lion colony at Los Isoltes, with beautiful views of Isla Espiritu Santo along the way. I can’t describe how amazing it was to swim with the cutest Sea Lion puppies! They were so many of them, and they were so curious…constantly coming up to us to see what we were doing! On the way back, we had a delicious picnic lunch on a secluded beach. Our guide set everything up for us, including chairs and umbrella. Sebastian made a few stops so we could watch dolphins, rays, and birds, giving us interesting tidbits about the marine life in the area. In all, it was a magical time. Highly recommend this company!
