Ok so it looks nice from afar. Yeah it’s a cool church built literally on a rock. However many things to dislike. #1 parking is as shady as it gets, hide your valuables! #2 although most of the way up has stairs and a ramp for stroller there is a narrow set of dangerous stairs at the top that is zero accesible. #3 “the gorgeous views of Parras” as described in some Google posts are “ok” at best. Lugar de tradición en el pueblo mágico de Parras.

El recorrido es largo y se hace a pie, se debe tener buena condición física para hacerlo, pues no hay acceso a vehículos que te lleven a la parte superior, (al parecer sólo sube y baja la motoneta del guardia o sacristán).

Para llegar a la iglesia, en su último tramo de recorrido, hay dos opciones de escaleras, llevan a donde mismo, yo sugiero que usen las más modernas ya que son un poco más cómodas.

La Iglesia en sí, es pequeña, muy sencilla, (no hay lujos en ella), pero al estar en la cima brinda una apacible vista panorámica de Parras de la Fuente.

Su visita es básica para todo turista y de tener fé en el catolicismo, no te la puedes perder.

Al pie del cerrito, antes de comenzar el recorrido, por su entrada principal, hay un pequeño mercado rodante, donde puedes adquirir dulces típicos, bebidas, souvenirs. Hay espacio para estacionar tu automóvil, además muy cerca se encuentran las clásicas letras que conforman el nombre de PARRAS, adornadas según su tradición, listas para tomarte la foto...
