Casa Pedregal — Attraction in Mexico City

This is a subtler Barragan house when it comes to color schemes, but otherwise his personal touches are everywhere, like the glass balls of various sized, the preserved volcanic rocks in the backyard, high ceilings and a variety of materials used in the interior of the house... The house itself is beautiful. The tour is an offensive waste of time and money. Because the company scheduled the tour during three other unrelated activities, we did not get to see the main living room, master bedroom, or the lower level salon. Our tour guide knew functionally nothing about the space, was clearly bored, and provided limited explanations like "This room is pink. Do you like it?". I would discourage anyone who doesn't have an advanced degree...

Not the best project of Barragán, and honestly not the most accessible either. The lady giving the tour was very kind and there is a cute cafe/restaurant next door with books but everything is extremely overpriced. Honestly, I like the restaurant more than the house (it did have a nice kitchen and some very nice moments)- also depending on the people occupying the house- certain parts might not be available for touring (again- overpriced)...
