Trajineras-Trajitours — Attraction in Mexico City

Horrible experience with this place. No fixed price so all depends on what you negotiate for yourself. Just to give you an idea, they start with 1800 for a boat for 2 hours which could magically drop to 600 for an hour and a half. And it probably isn’t the best deal anyway.

Adding to that, their representative assured we can have a “recorrido” to Isla de las Muñecas in 1.5 hours and see essentially all the best places. In fact, only after you’re on a boat and far from land the driver would tell you it’s not the real island, but it’s a replica. Lastly, you’ll be bothered by multiple offers to buy food, drinks and souvenirs, which will beautifully end with a boat driver practically requiring you to tip him 200 pesos in the middle of the canal.

Conclusion? Avoid this place. I’m obviously not sure if other embarcaderos are any better, but this one is definitely a no until they’ll start to treat people with honesty, respect, and...

Ripoff. Made a reservation two days in advance for a 5 hour tour of La Isla de las Muñecas. I confirmed everything with the agent, Erick. When I was about an hour into the boat ride the guy on the boat told me that it was impossible to access the island due to the water levels and then started heading back to the dock. I tried to message the agent and he didn't write me back. Checking Google maps on the boat I saw that we didn't even go in the direction of the island. I'm writing this now as I'm on the boat a few meters away from the dock and watching a bunch of other boats heading to the island. My friend is now on the phone with the agents wife trying to get me a partial refund.

This is an absolute disgrace. The guy on the boat told me that I can try to go back on my next trip to Mexico. Total false advertising and...

Muy muy muuuy sucio y no me refiero al agua sino a las montañas de basura en el lugar para subir y bajar a la trajinera ni siquiera en una bolsa eran montones de vasos y demás tipo de desperdicio y preguntamos porque tanta basura y la srita de malas contesto que no les daban botes (pero bueno si el lugar les está dando ingresos porque no comprar uno o bolsas y que el turismo ahí la ponga) esto fue mientras sin preguntar nos llevaban a otro embarcadero metiendonos por callejones no fue mucho pero si temimos por nuestra seguridad, y luego por las preguntas que realizamos por el estado muy grosera la srita pregunto si queríamos o no el viaje , las trajineras sucias muy viejas y despintadas sin el arco de letras o flores pues como es una trajinera también de hecho tuve que pedir sacarán la basura pues los anteriores turistas habían dejado vasos y ya así nos ibamos solo los echaron abajo de la mesa , el personal muy grosero , por lo que me dijeron que esas eran las de $250 que si quería un con letrero era de $600 la hora , la imitación de la isla de las muñecas da risa solo pegaron restos de muñecas en una pared y árboles o algo así 😂😂, finalmente como los invitados no conocían nada pues les pareció bien (me disculpé por la imagen) pero a mí gusto dejan mucho que desear y bueno pues viene descrito un tour el cual tenía que preguntar y¿ dónde está esto ?y lo otro descrito aquí y el sr otro de malas contestaba mal en fin tratamos entre nosotros hacerlo ameno tan es así que quisieron rentar otra hora porque entre chocar y chocar con otras trajineras y no avanzar se fue la media hora y ya teníamos que regresar la cuál se cobraron por anticipado antes de bajar y luego la srita de malas la del principio quería le pagará otra vez cuando descendimos, en fin NO les vuelvo a contratar, NO los recomiendo ....PESIMO SERVICIO, no pongo las fotos porque da pena la manera tan sucia y feas que tienen las trajineras parecen latas viejas .Si lo admito lo barato sale caro ,cae que me dirán que querías por 250 pero nunca creí fuera a tal extremo
