OMG this cenote was so fun! The water here was SUPER FRESH and COLD! The best water I swam in during my stay in Mexico. This place has lockers for you to put your stuff in while you hope in the relaxing water. We saw bats flying around the caves while swimming. There are lots of areas with high rocks where you can accidentally kick the rock and deep spots where you can’t touch the floor. It’s so fun to see everyone’s reactions getting into the cold water. They provide you with a MANDATORY LIFE-VEST styled floatation device. You have to PRE-SHOWER before jumping into the cenote to get any chemicals your body has on to stop it from hurting the fresh water ecosystem in place. Small souvenir shop, sold watershoes shirts and some smaller items. We only went to the one water pool as I wasn't aware of how to get to the second location, haha. Read moreA tourist trap! We were totally scammed in there - the access to the cenote is not well marked. We arrived to the nearby cenote and were not informed that the entry fee is 400 pesos. We ended up spending five minutes in a dirty water and only after that were informed that the access costs 400 pesos. Believe me, it’s not worth it!
