Our driver recommended this Cenote as being a little off the tourist path and glad he did (shout out to Edgar) We could have spent all day here. The cenote is beautiful with clear fish filled water and beautiful views of the underwater caves. There are two platforms you can leap from. There is also a zip line you can fall from for 10 pesos. The surrounding area really blends with the jungle and has plenty of seating. Definitely rent a swim mask for 50 pesos or bring your own so you can really see everything. . There is a small restaurant and bar that serves local beer we recommend the Tulum beer. The staff is really helpful and friendly with many speaking English. There is also a safari tour we didn't try. Finally a nice little gift shop with good prices.

A nice picnic/recreation area organized around a crystal clear cenote. Once you get to the cenote you will find two parking lots with plenty of space. The price of admission for foreigners is 200 MXN which will buy you a wristband that you can use all day. Inside there are lots of places for picnicking as well as tables and benches and shady roofed areas. There are several shops selling trinkets to go with a restaurant that sells food and alcohol. The cenote is quite small, about the size of a 25m pool, but deep enough for diving. There is a zipline above that's also meant for dropping into the water from a height. Bathrooms on site are ok, though not exactly up to US standards. It gets crowded with both locals and tourists.

The thing I’m not all that happy is the entry price is really too much for what it’s worth. Not only they double the price for foreigner to 200 peso which is $10usd. Yet if you don’t have peso with you, they milk you again by adding another 20% to charge you $12usd. Kids above 1meter tall all need to pay full price. So our family of 5 with kids age 5/9/12 total paid $60usd to enter. To put things in perspective , the world famous archaeological Tulum ruin is abt 100peso ticket and gives discounts to kids. Yes we paid and entered and had a good time. But the feeling of being somewhat ripped off is valid. Won’t let that bother me but also think it’s fair to let google review community be informed.

This was one of our favorite stops! Beautiful water, fun zip lines, great little bar/restaurant and super friendly staff. There are couple pools for those who dont want to be in the cenote, and shallow pools for the kids. Lots of lounge chairs!! Bathrooms, showers and change rooms! A little shop as well. There are bungalows for overnight, had we known we would have rather stayed there than Tulum! This was the only cenote that we were allowed to look at before we played the entrance fee. The cenote itself isnt huge, but you can see the bottom (max 12 feet). However along the edges at deep caves and stalactites fun for snorkeling.

Obviously the colour of the water and the actual cenote is stunning, however the natural beauty is ruined by all the platforms and built up shops etc around it. For us it really spoilt the beauty of it. Luckily we arrived as it opened and had it almost all to ourselves for 30 min before others arrived. No one bothered to make sure anyone showered (important to wash off sunscreen and bug spray so as not to pollute this delicate ecosystem). Was a bit of an anticlimax and would be so so much more special if the natural beauty was left untouched. However, it was our first cenote and indeed the clear water is mesmerizing.

On a beaucoup apprécié notre repas. Prix raisonnable.
