It's more like a pool! I think it's not worth 80 pesos compared to so many other cheaper places. It's basically a place for divers to come out and get fresh air lol it's good for families with smaller kids though. They also have a shallow pool. There are some smaller fish in the water fo see. It's got change roomsn, shower, and bathrooms and when you go there they tell you to read the sign saying that you can go inside free of charge to see the cenote so that's fair! If you like it you can pay 80 pesos and go in the water. They also have a rope that you can hold on to and they will pull you above the cenote to jump in the there if you want to (i think it's for kids though). I recommend going to this one and cenote Carwash. You can literally walk from...
Read moreOur driver recommended this Cenote as being a little off the tourist path and glad he did (shout out to Edgar) We could have spent all day here. The cenote is beautiful with clear fish filled water and beautiful views of the underwater caves. There are two platforms you can leap from. There is also a zip line you can fall from for 10 pesos. The surrounding area really blends with the jungle and has plenty of seating. Definitely rent a swim mask for 50 pesos or bring your own so you can really see everything. . There is a small restaurant and bar that serves local beer we recommend the Tulum beer. The staff is really helpful and friendly with many speaking English. There is also a safari tour we didn't try. Finally a nice little gift shop with...
Read moreReally nice place, the water was totally clear with lots of fishes in there. Attention: As we cycled there we mistakenly stopped 10 meters before, at another entrance. There is another similar named cenote in front of it. The Cenote before costs 300 pesos and the Cenote Zacil-Ha costs 200 pesos. Don't stop at the cenote in front, go the 10 meters or 30 feet ahead on the main road. Anyway, we give credits to the people at the other cenote because they told us to go ahead.
The Cenote Zacil-Ha is nice, has a zip line for additional 10$. You can eat and drink there. The people are really nice and not pushy at all! Really friendly stuff. The locker costs 20$ which was fine for us. We stayed there for the whole afternoon.
Definitely...
