Doesn't have the wildlife of Gran Cenote but has everything else. Zacil-Ha is a small beautiful cenote in a shaded jungle location. Lots of fish are swimming around in the cenote. There is a rope running across the cenote at water level in case you need something to hold onto. The water is somewhat cold but tolerable and refreshing on a hot day. There are 2 ladders for a gentle descent into the water, 1 lower and 1 higher jump off each, plus you can pay extra for a higher jump off a suspended wire. Prices for entry, drink, and gear rental are very reasonable. There are also swimming pools (pretty cold so probably best for very hot days) on site, but only saw kids in it. There are pagodas, hammocks, and tables to hang out and relax at. Great place to hang out at whether for 30 minutes or half the day, can't recommend it enough. (Visited in...

Water is absolutely crystal clear blue. There are a couple of jumping platforms, and you can even pay an extra $2 to use a zipline over the cenote and jump in from the zipline. There’s a restaurant on-site that offers food and drinks, with a well-rounded menu. We didn’t eat but did each order a cocktail, which were both delicious. They offer micheladas prepared in several different ways, which was cool, and i had a drink made from a fresh coconut with tequila. Beautiful, accessible, and...
Read moreEntry is 300 pesos per person and that doesnt even include life jacket or lockers or access to zip line. Locker was additional 30 pesos, life jacket was 30 pesos and even zipline was 10 pesos. And the cenote is not even that big. So I dont see the point of 300 pesos if you wont even include other things in it. They did have food available in case you wanted to buy something. The water is super clear, so thats nice. But the entry staircases have algae growing on them which could make it slippery.
Seems to be mostly local population who come here.
I think there’s much better cenotes than this one, so maybe go...
