We went yesterday (July 18th) and it was awesome. 3 adults and 3 kids, 16, 13 and 8. I’ve read other reviews, people have to remember this is not the United States. If you are looking for safety regulations, this is probably not your place. I’m not saying it is unsafe, just saying you have to practice your own safety and not expect workers to force people to comply. We did zip lines, ATV and the cave cenote. The cenote had 3 entrance options, one was a set of stairs. The fun option is to jump in from up top. It is 7 meters, or 21 feet for my US friends who don’t wanna Google the conversion. May not seem that high but when you are up there looking down, it’s pretty intimidating. Especially if you ask my wife because she slipped jumping in and landed sideways (ouch!!). She will have bruises well after we get back from vacation but she still very much enjoyed it. The ATV’s were awesome. I let my 8 year old daughter drive the entire time with me sitting behind her with my hand on the brake, like I said, being my own safety guide. They have purified water on site for free. They sell all types of snacks for a little extra but not outrageous. $2 bag of Doritos, $3 bottle of Coke. Our tour included 3 chicken tacos which they make right there on site and they were absolutely delicious. Even my picky daughters ate them. I would definitely do this excursion again. I am horrible with names but I remember Manny checked us in and showed us the ropes initially. He was awesome, friendly and accommodating. They answer any questions you may have. Our initial tour guide was Beto Loco. He was awesome as well. We had another guy too and he was awesome but I forget his name. Zip lines are double lines for safety. Helmets are provided for ATV rides and vests are there for free if you need it for the cenote. They do take pictures throughout but there was no pressure. We actually had to walk up and ask the guy to see ours and we decided to buy them all. 300 files including videos. Price was very reasonable and remember it’s...
Read moreWe were slightly offput from the start because the tour we paid for was not the tour we received. We were shown pamphlets for Adrenaline Adventure that had 50 minutes of ziplining, 50 minutes of ATV riding, and cenotes. At our pick up location they told us we were going to Kin Ha instead. We arrived and were told we had to lock everything up for our safety. I had a waterproof camera holder that I didn't lock up and they made me return and lock it up because as it turns out it is not for my safety, it was because they wanted to force you to buy pictures for over $45USD. The first part was the zipline that was less than 30 feet long. What a JOKE! It took less than 15 seconds and you had to use your hands as a brake on the wire. Second was a cool cenote, but they didn't have towels for us and since it was 9am, it was too cold to go in. We took pictures after the fact that I will attach. Next we rode 4wheelers, but it was not 50 minutes. It was more like 20 minutes round trip of driving on a dirt road, not through the jungle. The second cenote had dirty water and was gross. Even on the stairs leading down to the only paddle board had human poop on it. Disgusting! Our tour guide was so engrossed with flirting with a girl in our group. He must have passed on the info about her to all the other men because when we got back all of a sudden there was a large group of men just hanging outside the doors of the changing rooms, that by the way were partly see through and could easily see through large gaps between the doors. I felt terrible for her! They provided a very bland, simple meal that mid eating the waitress brings in a large tip box and plopped it in the middle of the table. The tour guide also hit us up asking for a tip. Would not go back again unless just paid for the onsite cenote during the middle of the day when...
Read moreAbsolutely loved this place. It was so beautiful. We asked the cab driver to take us to a Cenote that was not too touristy. This one was way out of the way. I am pretty sure I was the only American there. Everyone was speaking Spanish. It was less than $20 to visit two Cenotes. Super good deal. The first on was out in the jungle about a 15 minute drive from the main hub. There were platforms on many levels where you could jump in the refreshing water. Plus zip lines. There were a bunch of young Mexican men having a great time. We all had a great time!! I jumped off some platforms and used the zip line. The guide was really nice and sweet to my girlfriend and I. She is from Mexico so he spoke Spanish to both of us. He was super friendly and encouraged me to use the zip line. He was really friendly to us. The second Cenote was in an underground cave. It was really cool water, but so refreshing. After we were done, the guide offered us a tequila and water for $50 pesos. What a deal. So glad we made the trip. Cant wait to go back. It was so refreshing. We love Mexico and the people could not be nicer. Such a great time. ...
