Tepatitlan's Municipal Museum — Attraction in Tepatitlán de Morelos

A million thank yous to Mr Norberto Servin for taking the time with our family to give us a personal tour of the museum. He's definitely Tepa's " Google " with so much insight of the cities history. Caminando por la Real Avenida Hidalgo en este bello Municipio de Jalisco, nos encontramos con este lugar que alberga historia.

Cada una de las salas tiene piezas antiquísimas que solo traen recuerdos, había una exhibición de pinturas de concurso a nivel nacional realmente impactantes, me encantó tener la oportunidad de apreciar tan exquisito arte.

Dos plantas tiene la construcción de historia, limpieza y buen servicio y fue gratuita la entrada, les comparto información de redes oficiales para complementar mi aportación.

Una vieja casona de estilo neoclásico, edificada a sus expensas por el capellán del Santuario del Señor de la Misericordia, Padre Miguel Pérez Rubio, aloja en sus nueve salas el acervo cultural más significativo de Tepatitlán: profusión de cerámicas prehispánicas, tesoros de arte sacro, instrumentos y enseres de labranza de tiempos idos, testimonios materiales de la Guerra Cristera, adminículos y chirimbolos de la vida diaria de pasadas edades, fotografías del pasado tepatitlense, y la única colección de reproducciones de museo de la obra del tepatitlense Martín Ramírez, “El Van Gogh Mexicano" enviada por el Museo de Arte Folclórico de Nueva York..
