Mohan shakti temple Solan is situated on down hill towards Ashwani khad you can reach the temple via car bus taxi auto if you are going from Shimla towards chandigarh you have to take a sharp left toward Ashwani khad, the road is almost single lane village road it's maintained well total length to reach the temple is 7 kms . The temple is a very big temple here you can get paid parking at Very nominal rate wash rooms are also available free of cost here is a small cafeteria where you can have some refreshments. The temple has its own security and the security is efficient helpful and polite doing their duties politely. In this temple there are two big parks where visitors are not allowed to go in as they litter in the park and damages the idols (not intentionally) They throw cups bottles etc in the open they don't use the provided dustbins thus the administration of the park has closed the entry for all . The temple has very huge idols.Huge use of marble stone is used though touching the idols is not allowed in some places taking photographs is also not allowed I had clicked a few pictures I don't know where the picture taking was allowed or not but I had taken a few pictures . A great place to rejuvenate with family and friends. The temple is located inside a Heritage park. Location - Located inside a park which is spread in an area of 375 acres, the temple is huge and grand. Next to the temple is a river. The temple is located in the midst of a beautiful valley and mountains. Access road - The access road from Solan is 4 lane till the route is cut for Shakti Mohan temple about 6 km from the temple. Thereafter the last 6 km is single lane and requires careful driving Ambience and architecture - Architecture is very beautiful and sculptures are very detailed and near live size. Temple is huge with lot of space inside and around. To sum it all it is Majestic. Landscaping - Landscaping is also very good and detailed. Lot of statues inside the park and in the surrounding. History - The foundation stone was laid by Former Prime minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2002 and it was completed in 2008-09. Food and drinks - The temple has a very good restaurant near the parking area. The food quality is really good and they have a lot of items to choose from. Parking and Washroom - Ample parking space for cars and 2 wheelers is present. The washroom is located next to the parking space. Washroom was clean. A perfect place for weekend getaway with your family! Serene, mesmerizing, very peaceful, calm and spotlessly clean, relaxing place with a magnificent temple in the lap of mother nature. This place is a paradise in itself! The architecture of the temple is amazing and the views around are majestic. The entire complex is so serene and beautifully crafted. The idols are best of stone-crafts and great Indian culture. The sculptures in the place are an amazing piece of art. The temple inside is very serene and depicts scenes from mythology and is a good place for meditation. The Krishna~Arjun sanwaad from Bhagavad Gita - Sung by Anup Jalota & Vivek Prakash, played in the background along with the beautiful views makes this place divine. It is situated about 16 kms from Solan towards Shimla. After travelling 8 KMs from Solan, turn right (downhill) on a 7 kms narrow road with sharp curves. The road is little bit dangerous but believe me its worth the rough drive. * Ample parking facility is available. * Wheel chairs are available. * There is a Cafeteria with decent food options. * Do visit the small river flowing down nearby. Though not visited, but learnt that there is also trek from the river to a waterfall.

Solan is a small city which goes unnoticed by travellers who travel to himachal pradesh because it does not have any antique place or any church but now it doesn't seems like past, during my last visit to solan i found so many travellers travelling to this destination. Mohan Shakti Heritage Park is best place to visit if you are travelling to Solan or you are going towards shimla in himachal pradesh. The park is home to beautifully carved statues of gods, sages and holy tress using brass and different stones. The best time to attend an "aarti" is at 12:00 pm when you can hear the entire hall ring in harmony with the aarti. The man behind this Heritage Park is a retired Brigadier of Indian Army. Mr. Kapil Mohan (PadamShree) has put efforts, money, and energy to construct this heritage park on the banks of the Ashwini Khadd, a small rivulet that meets the water requirements of the Solan Town. This park is located at Hart Village, one can go from Salogada to ashwani khadd, its 7 kms from Solan city. #TravelWithPC #EkCupChah Do not use my images without my permission.

Mohan Shakti Temple in Solan . Captivates with its serene ambiance and architectural grandeur. Nestled amidst the lush Himalayan foothills, the temple offers a spiritual retreat. The intricate carvings and vibrant sculptures showcase exquisite craftsmanship. The panoramic views from the temple premises are breathtaking, adding to the overall experience. Devotees appreciate the tranquility and positive energy, making it a perfect place for introspection. The temple's well-maintained surroundings and cleanliness enhance the pilgrimage. However, limited amenities for visitors may pose a challenge. Despite this, Mohan Shakti Temple stands as a cultural and spiritual gem, providing a memorable and uplifting visit. It's an artistic wonder. Every corner of the temple is filled with intricate sculpting.it is one of kind. It's located in a valley, the road leading to the temple is a little rough but it's a must visit place in solan.

Mohan Shakti Temple is a stunning place to visit, located in the picturesque Shivalik Hills near Solan. This temple complex is one of the largest in North India and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It features grand pillars, intricate carvings, and beautifully crafted statues of various Hindu deities, showcasing remarkable artistry and attention to detail. The architecture is inspired by ancient Indian temples, reflecting a blend of tradition and modern design. The temple was founded by Dr. B.R. Sharma with a vision to preserve Indian culture and promote spiritual awareness. The grounds are expansive and beautifully maintained, with gardens and a meditation center. The breathtaking views of the surrounding hills make this a perfect spot for peace and reflection. Mohan Shakti Temple is not just a place of worship but also a tribute to Indian heritage, making it a must-visit for those interested in culture and spirituality.
