Unfortunately the lady inside women's area was very rude and told me to sit outside/near the shoes if you're not praying or menstruating! Never experienced this in any mosque and this is definitely not part of our beautiful religion. You are allowed to make dua/prayers inside the mosque regardless and making something haraam on others is a big sin if the prophet PBUH has not forbidden it. You should allow those who may not be praying to still experience the unity our religion brings. We visited the mosque on Friday for Jummah prayer. It was about a 50 minute walk from Iberostar Founty beach hotel but we stopped on the way for shopping and the boys were with us too so they needed to take breaks as they were getting tired. Jummah prayer was at 2pm and we arrived in good time. The khutbah was beautiful and the architecture of the mosque was splendid.
