Anti-Atlas Aventures — Attraction in Tafraout

As autonomous canyoneers we normally don't use guides. Nevertheless we decided to hire ali on our six days trip. And what an asset he was. He took us to 3 diffrent regions on which the topos are not published yet. He has perfect knowledge of the canyons. The tracks to and from the canyon are unmarked and often unclear. So having someone who knows the way blindfolded saves a lot of time. Ali speaks imazighen, moroccan and perfect french and english. He has an answer on all your questions about the country, its inhabitants and culture. Moreover he is always in a good mood and always in for a joke. He really felt as the youngest member of our crew. Thanks a lot Ali. It was a real pleasure to spend time with you. We'll meet again after the rains for some more...

A wonderful time being guided to local Sport climbing route with Ahmed. Ahmed was super helpful during the rest of our time in Tafraout helping to arrange bike rental, and climbung gear rental for our own bouldering and sport route activities.

Ahmed's speaking multiple languages as expected in Morocco so easy to communicate with as an English speaker.

Ahmed's a very kind person with plenty of laughter and always encouraging you on the routes saying 'its easy after this bit'.

Ali his colleague who I didn't meet but had plenty of communication via text/voicenote/call also was super helpfull.

J'ai eu a deux reprises Ahmed (anti atlas aventures) comme guide ...une fois lors du circuit Adad n'medni a l'ouest de l'Anti Atlas et la seconde lors du circuit des oasis et gorges de l'est. Ahmed est une véritable encyclopédie vivante du sud marocain. Il nous a émerveillés avec ses connaissances approfondies sur la flore, la faune, l'histoire et les traditions des oasis et des gorges. Grâce à lui, chaque rocher, chaque palmier avait une histoire à raconter."
