Whoopee Land Amusement Water Park — Attraction in Kirtipur Municipality

Whoopee Land Amusement and Water Park is located in the southern rim of the Valley near Chobhar, 3.5 km away from Balkhu.With a total of 17 rides and numerous other attractions, Whoopee Land promises to have options for adults, families, as well as children.

A massive sculpture of The Incredible Hulk stands near the entrance, accompanied by Neytiri from The Avatar and Shrek, the Ogre, giving a Disneyland-esque air to the park. A Jurassic Park with mechanical dinosaurs sits on the edge as well. Two rides are reserved for the daring vistors: The Frisbee and The Ranger. Families may also relish on The Swing Ship, The Octopus or The Bull Ride. Zorb Ball, a sport in which (willing) participants are put in a large transparent ball and rolled around, is also available at the park.Although overflowing with thrilling rides, the park also has attractions specially designed for children such as the Play Pen and swimming pools.

The main attractions of Whoppee Land are its four water slides. The park has restaurants, food stalls and gift shops. Moreover, to avoid wetting paper money, the park has a cash card system, by which all purchases can be made.

Fares: The fares for the park have been established at Rs 675 and Rs 375 for adults and children respectively on weekdays and Rs 875 and Rs 475 on Saturdays and public holidays.

We recently visited Whoopee Land Amusement Park with 7 family members, including a 4 year-old baby boy. Initially we thought maybe kids under 5 are free, but later found out even for a 4 year-old, the ticket is Rs. 400, and for adults it's Rs. 750.

We paid Rs. 5250 in cash, and then Rs. 400 through mobile banking for the baby’s ticket. The mobile banking transaction was 100% successful – we got the SMS, the bank statement, everything. But at the counter, the staff said: “Payment aaeko chaina, ticket dina mildaina.”

We politely tried to show them the transaction details, but they refused to even look at it. We asked to talk to the owner. When he arrived, he spoke in a very rude and aggressive way, saying: “Yo ticket ma dinna, janus gayera afno bank sanga kura garnus” Then they called security and pushed us aside from the counter. We were humiliated in front of everyone, with a child beside us, and no one was even ready to listen. They refund that 5250 but not 400 which we paid online. We returned sad and disappointed 😔 After 2 days of happening that, we followed up with our bank, and they still clearly said: "The transaction was successful. Amount has been debited and reached the destination." Even after showing this, Whoopee Land still says: "Tapai aauna parcha feri, yesto garnu parcha testo garnu parcha…" No proper solution, no responsibility, no respect.

This is not just about Rs. 400 – it’s about how they treated us like we were trying to cheat. We were misbehaved with, ignored, and pushed away, even though we had full proof. Such behavior from a "family amusement park" is just...

Best place to hangout with friends. Here are lots of stuff to do and lots of games which we can play. There is one entrance and one exit. The ticket cost Rs 750 without identity card but if you have identity card you can pay 600 for the ticket. Once you enter here every ride is free except the horror house. But u have to pay for foods and other stuffs like swimming costume.

The whole park is divided into two part. One is the land and another is the water.

In the land there are lots of ride like the giant wheel, the 360 ranger, jurasic safari, giant boat etc.

In the water there are also lots of stuffs to do like 5 and half feet swimming pool, lots of water slides etc.

Make sure to play all of the available rides to fulfill the money because once you stepped outside you cannot come in without another ticket. There are lots of things to be remmember while going there .

Inside the park the eating stuffs are of very high price like the normal rs 20 miniral water costs rs 60 and rs 30 frooti costs rs 80. And lots of others stuffs cost the most that one cannot imagine .

So, i recomend to have food outside the park and also take your own swimming dress because the rent price of the costume is the price of two new ones. Make sure to remember all the points before going there.

All the things is for the ones who wants to enjoy in cheap price but if you want to spend lots of money and have fun , then you can go on.
