I highly recommend "Above the Himalaya Trekking" for their exceptional professionalism in handling every logistical aspect. From the outset, Puru's responses to WhatsApp inquiries were prompt and thorough, providing clear answers to all my questions.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we were warmly received by his staff and transferred to our hotel. Puru personally visited us at the hotel, ensuring a smooth start to our journey. Visas and permits were efficiently arranged within three days.

Our guide, Dilli Ram, Driver, Penpa (Tibet guide), and cooks were outstanding, demonstrating remarkable patience throughout. While some minor issues arose during our 10+ day trip, the team promptly addressed and resolved each concern.

The tour vehicle was adequate for the drive, although the addition of amenities such as device charging points, reclining seats, and cup holders would have enhanced our experience, considering the lengthy daily drives. Nonetheless, our experience was satisfactory.

I found the hotels and accommodations to be suitable for the areas we visited. The meals prepared by the employed cooks were excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the breakfast and tea breaks. Our return to Kathmandu was smooth, with all arrangements well-organized and executed as planned.

We have recently completed our trek to Everest Base Camp in November 2022. The trip was an unforgettable experience, which was largely all thanks to Puru, Basu (our guide) and Mitra (our porter).

We initially booked the trip pre-covid but unfortunately had to re-arrange it multiple times. Puru made this process stress-free and over the years of planning was always at the end of an email to answer our queries (however small they were).

The trek itself was amazing. Basu and Mitra made the experience the best it could be - they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, happy and had the best experience of the Himalayas. Basu was incredibly knowledgeable – he shared this with us throughout the trip.

With the two of us being at slightly different experience levels / walking paces Basu and Mitra worked together to ensure that neither of us weren’t alone - Mitra even came to Base Camp with us in case one of us needed to return earlier (which was not part of the original plan). We all made it, which was largely due to Basu and Mitra’s encouragement.

We had successful trekked to EBC on 22/10/22, made possible by the immaculate arrangements by Puru/MD of Above the Himalayan. My husband n me had managed to complete another item on our bucket lists. Being retirees, Puru ensured that our private tour is managed to suit us. It is also prerogative that Puru is well connected in the Nepal industry, to be able to efficiently manage timely flight alternatives, given the unpredictable weather elements. This ensured that our trek is on schedule and undisrupted. He also showed his kind concern by checking on our well being throughout our trek, also through our guide Sitaran, when we do not have wifi connection. This extended to throughout our post trek stay in Kathmandu n Pokhara. Recommending and helping with lodging arrangements n flights, at good prices. We could not recommend enough of Above the Himalayan. It is definitely a 5 star ⭐️ company with excellent service, and a kind heart. I am recommending to my friends n relatives in Singapore. It was a fulfilling trip for us and will look up Puru when we travel to...
