What a great place to see the history of sea rescue services from Ameland. The old rescue boat from 1937, the "Abraham Fock" is a sight to behold. Also the bridge of an old ferry on top of the building looks very cool.

Zu erst sind Hunde hier, wie fast überall auf Ameland, herzlich willkommen. Die Herren vor Ort sind ein Teil der Zeitgeschichte und stehen gerne Rede und Antwort. Es ist sehr interessant die Geschichte mal zum Anfassen zu erleben. Wir kannten bis dato nur den Wunderschön Bericht vom WDR und können nun sagen wir waren auch hier. Das Museum ist auf jeden Fall ein must do auf Ameland. Der Eintritt ist fair und gerechtfertigt für die Werterhaltung und so wichtige geschichtliche Arbeit der Menschen. Der Besuch ist kurzweilig und was für kleine und grosse Entdecker.

Ik hoop niet dat bezoekers hierdoor over diverse obstakels gaan vallen. Tentoongesteld waren schilderijen van Christiaan Kuitwaard en werken van Johannes Bosgra (fotografie, video).

Sehr schön gestaltete kleine Maritime Ausstellung mit wunderschönen Exponaten, Bildern und Gegenständen der Seeschifffahrt Amelands. Sehr schön auch gestaltet mit einer Kompletten Schiffsbrücke und einem verbundenen Simulator, weiterhin ein Original Strandrettungsboot mit allem Geschirr und der Geschichte der Niederländischen Rettungsgesellschaft als auch des Einsatzes des Rettungsbootes auf Ameland. Auch für Kinder absolut geeignet.Msn hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben.Das Gebäude selbst ist wunderbar gestaltet und passt ins Dorfbild.Absolut Empfehlenswert. Ein Museum der Extraklasse!!! Ein MUSS für JEDEN Urlauber dort lernt man die Geschichte der Ameländer Seefahrt.und das GANZE Rettungswesen damals und heute kennen!!! Ist auch für Kinder recht interessant Man kann dort sogar das alte Pferderettungsboot (was auch heute noch demonstriert wird) erklimmen!! Dort erfährt man auch wie es damals zu dieser tragischen Situation.beim Pferderettungsbooteinlas gekommen ist!!! Der Eintritt ist vollkommen in Ordnung!!! Liebes Team macht weiter so Ich war schon SEHR OFT bei euch und auch nicht das letzte Mal!!! Deashalb 5...
