We set out to visit the bunker and ended up here in this beautiful nature reserve – and gained something even more valuable. 😉 After paying for parking, entrance, and a map, we rented bikes. There are plenty available, and they even thought of families with small children – with rear seats included. I actually used it for my dog. 😌 The area is huge with stunning and varied scenery. One moment you’re cycling through the forest, the next through a desert landscape or along winding paths. We really enjoyed our time here, and even our dog couldn’t get enough of the views. Exploring nature always feels great. We saw beautiful plants and interesting trees, and also checked out some of the buildings and map highlights. There are several restrooms along the way, and we noticed a cafeteria and museums as well (we didn’t try them, so I can’t comment on those).

I highly recommend buying a map at the entrance to help you navigate the many walking and cycling routes throughout the park. Please note that they do not accept cash – tickets and items at the entrance can only be purchased by card.
