We set out to visit the bunker and ended up here in this beautiful nature reserve – and gained something even more valuable. 😉 After paying for parking, entrance, and a map, we rented bikes. There are plenty available, and they even thought of families with small children – with rear seats included. I actually used it for my dog. 😌 The area is huge with stunning and varied scenery. One moment you’re cycling through the forest, the next through a desert landscape or along winding paths. We really enjoyed our time here, and even our dog couldn’t get enough of the views. Exploring nature always feels great. We saw beautiful plants and interesting trees, and also checked out some of the buildings and map highlights. There are several restrooms along the way, and we noticed a cafeteria and museums as well (we didn’t try them, so I can’t comment on those).

Overall, it was a fantastic experience to cycle here and enjoy the natural surroundings. Highly recommended – thank...

The most memorable moment when I visited Netherlands! If you have a day to spend, I suggest you try to experience this activities, it combine most of attractive Holland activities which are cycling, nature sightseeing, forest, savana, museum, hot chocolate, apple pie, souvenirs, we cycling 8-9 KM to Kröller-Müller Museum through wilderness, a quite challenging for me who rarely do exercise, you need someone to accompany you, someone who can encourage and help you go through the journey, after around 45 minutes we arrived at Kröller-Müller Museum and have quick bite at Restaurant Monsieur Jacques, The bike was provided in some Parkeerplaats Bezoekerscentrum around this park and we could used it for free, this bike have unique breaking system which to slowing down we just need...

Ingang Hoenderloo is one of several entrances to De Hoge Veluwe National Park, and a great starting point for exploring this beautiful and diverse nature reserve. I highly recommend buying a map at the entrance to help you navigate the many walking and cycling routes throughout the park. Please note that they do not accept cash – tickets and items at the entrance can only be purchased by card.

The park itself is stunning, with a mix of forests, heathlands, and sand dunes. There are excellent cycling paths, and you can use the free white bicycles provided throughout the park. It's also home to the famous Kröller-Müller Museum, which has a large collection of Van Gogh paintings. A perfect destination for nature lovers, art enthusiasts, and anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful...
