After reading the comments on google, we went to the factory for a visit. The 2 stars are for the lovely place where we took some pictures from. Afterwards we went to the bar for some explanation about the liquor they sale. Marco the guy behind the counter came to us and asked if he could help. We asked about what the are selling and what kind of flavor is tasteful. He answered I only can tell what I like… I reacted oké what kind of flavors do you sell. He started rolling with his eyes took a deep breath and he started to talk with an disinterested voice and attitude about the different flavors. But my guts where telling me this guy doesn’t like his job or didn’t want to sell anything. Everything seemed to be to much for this guy Marco. Nothing was offered to us to taste regretless we had seen at the other stand(s) that the guy’s behind there where giving samples of the liquor to taste to the customers. But Marco wasn’t going to do that out of his own. I didn’t feel me a guest with him so we dicided to leave and didn’t buy anything. Marco is a disaster for the...

When the first question you are asked is, "Have you ever drank a cactus?" You know you are in a place that will have a few things you may not of seen before. This distillery is a fun place to explore. It is in the oldest city on the island. The staff welcomes you from the moment you are near the gate and the hospitality doesn't stop there. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about all the products they make. The samples are are worth trying for all the types/flavors of Cadushy. They have expanded their distillery skills to making gin, vodka, rum, whiskey and tequila. The patio area is comfortable and has added features of gardens and bird feeders that attract many different colored birds. The iguanas are hanging around in the trees and the resident kitties are around to greet you. They make several different cocktail drinks and you can purchase bottles of their Cadushy and/or other spirits to take home. We preferred the gin and the dark rum. There is more to explore there and I highly recommend going when you visit Bonaire. It is well...

The Cadushy Distillery is a small distillery that makes unique liqueurs, along with rum, vodka and whisky. Cadushy is located in the old town of Rincon, in the center of Bonaire. A nice way to visit is to go to Cadushy and then have lunch at Posada Para Mira, which is on a hill overlooking Rincon.

I have never been a rum drinker, until I encountered the Cadushy reserve rum. This rum if spectacularly good. The Cadushy reserve rum is the smoothest 80 proof liqueur I have ever had. The rum is almost dangerous, since you have an ounce or two and then want another ounce or two. But don't believe me... I don't want you to buy up all their reserve rum. I'm down to half a bottle.

Cadushy is only open Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Check their schedule in August/September, when they take several weeks off...

What a delightful tasting experience! Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a round of liqueur tastings that showcased flavors from various Dutch Caribbean islands while we awaited our free tour. Our favorite was the cactus liqueur. The tour was brief but enjoyable, allowing us to see both the original and current distillery sites. If you're lucky, you might also meet the adorable cat named Jacob. After the tour, we had the chance to sample all the liquors, including gin, vodka, tequila, rum, and whiskey. Our favorite was the spicy rum! The staff was incredibly friendly, and we extend our gratitude to Maxi, Marco, and our tour guide for making the experience so enjoyable. We visited the distillery on a Monday and didn't realize that the national park was closed that day. The tasting definitely made up for it!
