Leuk museum, gastvrije enthousiaste ontvangst, beperkte collectie, conservering af en toe amateuristisch. Toelichting: de focus ligt op de geschiedenis van de afgelopen 100 jaar, dus (ondergang vd) visserij, leven op de boerderij (komt geen vee aan te pas), leven vd jeugd, klederdracht. Op het erf achterin museum staan landbouwwerktuigen zonder toelichting of context. Een opgegraven stuk boomstam (eikenhout) van 4000 jaar oud (volgens de beschrijving) ligt in weer en wind te schimmelen. In de museumboerderij (niet authentiek op die locatie) wordt het leven geschetst van een Christelijke gemeenschap, dus Gods aanwezigheid doortrekt het dagelijks leven. Goed gedaan, vooral de vrouw achter de naamachine die een psalm neuriet. De relatie tussen Bunschoten en Spakenburg wordt niet belicht; zou een aanwinst zijn voor het museum (link naar oude geschiedenis, archeologische vondsten, enz). Het zou goed zijn als er iets meer lijn in de tentoonstelling werd gebracht, meer historisch, minder 'opstapeling van...
