Fifty years ago, in 1968, the 'Prague Spring' abruptly ended because of the brotherly help from the communist neighbours of Czechoslovakia. Quite a number of people choose to live in exile, by which the followed the example of Jan Amos Comenius, a pansophist pedagogue, who is buried in the church that is now part of the Comenius museum. It is also really accessible, with multiple languages and the possibility to sit while reading the exhibitions on the first floor. They also had an English guidebook for the second floor, with lots of extra context for the artwork.
