My partner has been eager to bring me here for over two years, and today was finally the day. We were hurrying to reach the time slot we booked (though that doesn't matter much on weekdays in hindsight) but when we got there we stayed outside for 15 minutes, making us 14 minutes late. Reason being is that even outside, in front of the entrance, the zoo is already so nice and welcoming that we enjoyed staring red pandas and otters so much it made us late for the park right behind our backs. Animals: The park has a great variety of animals, not the most exciting or exotic ones but for reasons you'll understand later that doesn't matter. All the homes of the animals in ZooParc Overloon are amazing. They're very comfortable, they're big enough, they're natural, they're well kept, and everything these animals could ask for. All animals have places both indoors and outdoors, and options to hide if they wish in both of those. The friendly ones are usually able to interact with humans, but the visitors aren't allowed to interact with them as that's not good for their survival health. Everything in the park shouts that they care for the animals more than for the money, simply incredible. The Park: The paths are cute and have an amazing vibe, they blend with the surroundings in a very natural way, making it feel not only like a visit to a zoo, but also like a walk through a very unique forest. Again everything is exemplary well maintained to the point that a bit of trash I saw the first round through the park was gone 3 hours later. The Price: for just under €20,- spending a day here is a cop-out, the value for what you get is incredible and I recommend everyone to go here!

We went to the zoo yesterday (21.8.20.). We couldn't have chosen better day than that. Warm, but windy, it had a bit of South Mediterranean feeling and warmth which just added to the whole experience. I found it very thoughtful of the zoo policy for their staff to wear masks. It must be bummer for the staff, as it is and was quite warm. Still, very very well thought. Cudos! I don't know what does it look like when there are no covid rules and regulations, but we've seen and visited everything. We loved the shadow and all different views you come along. It was easy, the route walked naturally. Kids loved the small activity paths along the way. It was full success! Only backlash were wasps, just before we entered the zoo my oldest was bitten by one. This way I would like to thank two very helpful ladies at the front who helped us, with prompt request for help and help, of course. You saved our day, thank you! :) All in all I recommend this zoo and would like to visit again. I'm interested in winter experience. Or when "new normal" stops being practiced. 🙂

One of the best zoo that i have been on. it is not as large and have less animals as the one we have at home but this zoo have the best design that i saw by far. pros: 1) the zoo is divided to areas or continents and in each zone you have the animals that are native to that area. 2) you have 1 route so you cant get lost and you dont need to double track. 3) the best part is every 20m you have advance route for kids( very short but with wood and obsticals that they enjoy corssing) 4) at the end of the park is a big treat. big trampolin and some swings and more attractions 5) paid parking lot with lots of space 6) when we came it was not crowded and they publish the feeding time for each animal so you can go watch. 7) the animals seems happy and they have alot of space. and on some areas they are free to walk among you cons: only 1 for food: mostly junk food in the 2 places there(one in the middle) and my wife is vegetarion and couldnet find what to eat. overall i realy recomand to visit if you are in the area and have half a day

Definitely recommend this zoo. Even before you enter the ticket sales you get treated by some fun animals (otters, red panda). The zoo itself isn't very big but has a lot to offer. Some of the areas there are effectively no barriers between the walking path and the animals so you may have to stop to let some penguins cross the road. There are lots of different little bypasses that make walking around for the kids a lot more fun! There is a nice playground about midway through the park, where you can also get some snacks and have a rest, and a much bigger one at the restaurant near the exit so the kids can play while you wait for your food & drinks to arrive. We only had some coffee ourselves so can't comment on the quality of the food. All in all a very good experience of a well setup zoo.

Beautiful animal park that is easily walkable. The environments where the animals are kept are well cared for and very spacious and you can view them from almost every angle, which ensures that you can see each animal, wherever it is hiding. I was surprised to see 6 male lions together and not a single female. I know from the wild about male coalitions, but I didn't expect to see only male lions in a animal park. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there are excellent parking facilities nearby and a fun expedition experience for children. The only thing that really disturbed us was the lack of choice/healthy options to eat at the base camp. We were there with 2 small children and going back to the main building for lunch wasn't an option (I don't know what they serve there).

Great and beautiful zoo with lots of nature. There s a large parking area across the road (3 mins walking tops) bathrooms after the entrance are very clean. Lots of space on the paths, with beautiful green grass, trees bushes and so on. Animals look taken care of and very healthy. As far as I've seen there are also some breeding programs for the endangered animals. Staff is very nice and helpful near the enclosures. If you've got any questions, they'll try to answer them. Do take your boots with you after rain has fallen. Pathways will get quite muddy. Toilet areas later on are a bit dirtier menwise. Prices for a cappuccino were around 2,75.was ok for a venue. 5/5 Will visit again.
