Museum of Comic Art — Attraction in Noordwijk

Leuk kleinschalig museum. Voor de stripliefhebber een must. Elk half jaar een compleet nieuwe tentoonstelling. Met daarnaast ook nog een tentoonstelling van originelen die te koop staan. In juni 2025 start de tentoonstelling 80 jaar Suske en Wiske, die loopt tot in oktober. Kinderen kunnen een Suske en Wisje album scoren, gebruikt, maar goed. Het enuge dat ze moeten doen is een puzzeltocht door het museum volbrengen. In de zomer is het museum goed te combineren met een dagje strand. Noordwijk staat verder bekend als leuk winkel plaatsje. In het museum kan je in de bibliotheek tot sluitingstijd strips lezen en er worden filmpjes gedraaid over het onderwerp strips of cartoons. Het is trouwens het enige stripmuseum in Nederland. Als je vriend wordt levert dat onbeperkt gratis bezoeken op en een stevige korting op de 2 katalogi die per jaar verschijnen. Echte verzamelobjecten die zeer gewild zijn en slechts in beperkte oplages...

The art shows a very varied range of european and American comicbook artists including national and international famous artists like Moebius and Mr. Matena.

Although the museum is small, the quality is high and there are interesting rotating collections.... If you love comics and want a diversion in this lovely beach town...

Brilliant museum. Definitely worth a visit! The exhibition that was on when I visited was an excellent selection of different pieces of art over the years. These were enhanced by information next to each piece, written with thought and care, showing a passion for the topic that was engaging and entertaining.
