I was so in love in this museum! I had a huge goospumps because i am a refugee myself and i know how it is to cross seas and seek refuge! and its unbelievable what the dutch Soldiers and citizens had to experience during the german occupation. The service of the museum was also great! We had a friendly german gentleman who gave us a german handout of all sections of the museum! He was...

Музей Engelandvaarders находится в приморском городке Нордвейк,недалеко от Лейдена.Этот небольшой музей располагается в бывшем бункере времен Второй мировой войны,где находилась батарея Нордвейка,он сравнительно недавно открылся,в 2015 году,но приобрел популярность не только среди местных жителей Нордвейка,но и среди жителей Нидерланд и туристов.Музей рассказывает об истории сопротивления голландцев фашистской Германии и конкретно об истории группы моряков,которые собрались вместе и переплыли лодками Северное море на веслах до Англии,где вступили с ряды борцов за освобождение порабощенных стран от нацистской Германии и воевали до Победы.Экспозиция музея интересная,есть ,что посмотреть и над чем задуматься,язык-нидерланский и английский.Нидерландцы гордятся подвигом этих людей,о чем свидетельствуют многие экспонаты,стенды с фотографиями,документальные фильмы,ордена и медали.....Если будете в Нордвейке,не упустите возможность посетить этот военный музей со своей историей.Действует Museumkaart.
