Ouderkerkerplas Strand — Attraction in Ouder-Amstel

Amazing place to spend your day. It's a nice ride with the bicycle but a little far if you take the metro. We drove to ourerkerkerplas a few days back, and would love to visit again. It's a quite lake where you can play, get your barbecue and enjoy a nice sunny day. Don't forget to get an extra pair of clothes when visiting in summers. Perfect place for families when is warm enough.The water is not deep the first meters for the kids and then there is open water to enjoy a enough long swimming. Secluded and not widely known little lake. Small wooden play area and lots of sand. Bring inflatables and buckets and spades for sand castles. Lots of grass for football or sports.
