We dined at Wereld Restaurant A2 as a group of 7 (4 adults, 2 children, 1 baby). Adults were charged €39.99 each, the children €27 and €8. The restaurant requires payment before dining, but we were not informed about the “zero waste” policy prior to paying. Some dishes, such as lamb skewers, were overcooked and burnt, making them inedible, so some were left unfinished. The owner, while friendly, offered us lobster, which we politely declined as we were already full and did not want to waste food. The children only had a small portion of fries, chicken nuggets, and ice cream, and also left some. When leaving, a staff member stopped me—despite other tables having leftover food—and asked why the children didn’t finish their portions. This policy should be clearly explained before payment so guests can have reasonable expectations and avoid unpleasant experiences. I recommend checking the restaurant’s “zero waste” policy in advance to avoid affecting your...
Read moreWent to this restaurant shortly after it was opened. Was really positive about their foods and services. We went again to find out that the they had downgraded on the food. Although it was OK, there were some significant changes:
Chinese style fish had no flavor Lobster was overcooked Toilet hygiene wasn't ok, no one looked at/cleaned the toilets (even though the customers should use it in a clean matter, it's the restaurant responsibility to keep things nice and clean). Ice cream scoop was all sticky Seemed as if the ice cream was mixed with milk/cream. Black sesame didnt't taste like it should have, neither did the pistachio. It tasted more milky. Nigiri was not fresh, tuna was already on room temprature.
I understand thay it's more crowded than before. However, if you're going to raise the entrance price, I expect good quality food in return. And it wasn't there yesterday...

Read moreThe food was above average. Quality and availability are great. Many choices of different cuisines. The reception was nice and friendly, the same for the waiters/waitresses.
There is 1 negative point I want to mention: The (chinese) cook that is responsible for managing the lobsters, is obviously and clearly unfriendly and showing racism. Let me explain this. There was a queue waiting for new lobsters to be served. After it has been put on the counter/buffet, the cook helped everyone to put lobster parts on their dishes. So I also provide him my dish and expects he will help me also. The cook throws the pincer back to the lobsters and told me “self service, do it yourself” where I reacted angrily and took lobsters myself. This is not how it works, you can chose to not help, but if you want to help then you have to help everyone.
This is why my review has 4 stars...
