Prinses Beatrixpark — Attraction in Schiedam

I always used to walk in this park in the evening — everything was fine: beautiful nature and fresh air. But yesterday, on June 8th at 9:30 PM, I was walking and saw a suspicious man. I turned onto a path and noticed he was following me. Later, I turned again, and he kept going straight, so I breathed a sigh of relief. But it turns out he had taken a roundabout way and ended up on the same path ahead of me.

I started walking slowly and saw from the corner of my eye that he was gradually cutting across to walk directly toward me. Suddenly, he grabbed me and looked me straight in the eyes with a wild, furious look. I grabbed him back and said, “Please, don’t,” and screamed with all my strength. He said, “Okey, go,” pulled up his hood, and walked away as if nothing had happened. I ran as fast as I could toward where there were people.

I never thought something like this could happen. I don’t know what he intended to do, but I’m thankful to be home, safe and sound. Please, don’t walk in parks at such a late hour. This is nice place to bring your kids or if you want to see animals. But they dont have many variety of animals compare to kinderboerderij in Kralingse bos Rotterdam. But it is still a nice place to entertain your young kids. If u take public transport by tram to go here then u will have to walk for 800mtrs or like10 mins walk.
