I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service my partner and I received during our recent visit to your spa on April 18th 2025..
As a non-Dutch couple visiting Tilburg, I booked anti-stress massage, intending to provide a relaxing experience after my partnerās stressful period at work as a gift for his birthday. I had my massage scheduled an hour before his, during which time he waited in the restaurant area.
While waiting, he used his mobile phone with earphones to listen to music. Shortly after, a waitress informed him that mobile phone use was not permitted. He immediately apologized, put his phone away, and requested that I be informed of the policy upon my return.
Despite his compliance, another waitress approached him five minutes later, stating, āI heard you were using your mobile,ā even though the phone was no longer in use. She continued to address him in an angry tone.
Upon my return, my partner began to explain the situation to me. However, before he could finish, the first waitress interrupted him, speaking in a very rude manner. She accused him of wrongdoing, threatened to have us removed from the premises, and concluded her remarks with a disrespectful tone āgoodbye and bave a nice day!ā
This experience was both confusing and distressing. We were unaware of the specific mobile phone policy, as the signage was in Dutch, and we believed it pertained only to phone calls and photography. The staffās handling of the situation lacked the professionalism and courtesy we expected from your establishment.
We were treated in the worst possible way on the first day of our holiday and turned the birthday gift to my partner as a disaster and I hope that your staff to behave in a more customer centric way to non Dutch speaking customers.. The manager of the restaurant apolized after we explained but the laughters I heard coming from the two waitresses after they spoke with the manager didnāt help with the overall experienceā¦
We removed the mobile phone right away but the continued āhostile behaviourā will unfortunately stay with us as a bitter memory...
Ā Ā Ā Read more2019 Today again at SpaPuur.. Again no pictures because, understandably, no telephones are allowed inside .. SpaPuur is devouring, although we had a nice day, I cannot understand that they pay so little attention to the building. If you brick a door, finish it nicely, so also with the tiles around the door at the steam sauna, the wall at the sauna opposite the foot bath, etc. What I also missed a few sunbeds, there are plenty outside within not even one. A few benches in the restaurant, but you can't really relax there. Others complained about this while changing clothes. At checkout indicate to the receptionist, who said that there were still some loungers in the waiting room of the treatment room. Well, then you don't quite understand the problem. The restaurant is very good, not cheap but of good quality .. Next time I will look further, for example the sauna in Goirle, I hear good stories about that.
2019 Vandaag weer bij Spa puur geweest.. Nu weer geen foto's omdat, begrijpelijk, geen telefoons binnen toegestaan zijn.. SpaPuur is aan het verslonzen, ondanks dat we een lekkere dag hebben gehad kan ik niet begrijpen dat ze zo weinig aandacht geven aan het gebouw. Als je een deur dichtmetselt maak het dan iig netjes af, zo ook met de tegels rond de deur bij de stoomsauna, de muur bij de sauna tegenover het voetenbadje enz. Wat ik ook erg gemist heb zijn een paar ligbedden, buiten zijn er genoeg echter binnen geen een. In het restaurant wel een paar banken maar daar kun je niet echt relaxen. Tijdens het omkleden werd hier door anderen ook over geklaagd. Bij het afrekenen aangeven aan de receptioniste, die vertelde dat er boven, in de wachtkamer van de behandelruimte nog wat ligbanken stonden. Tja, dan snap je niet helemaal het probleem. De horeca is wel erg goed, niet goedkoop maar wel kwalitatief goed.. Volgende keer toch maar even verder kijken, bijvoorbeeld de sauna in Goirle, daar hoor ik goede...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreim really disappointed.Service staff are really rude and unfriendly.At 10 pm woman came and said āwe will closed in 30 min,come out from pool and prepare your stuff for leavingā,our answer was āok,we will come out in few minutes thanksā but she was really mad āno,you should leave swimming pool right now.I was surprised I swear.. I paid 250⬠when booked the spa.And I hoped to get massages.When I came,girl said me āIām so sorry,massages isnāt available in the evening.You can order food in our restaurant and after we will return you part of the money back to the card.I agreed because I didnāt have a choice already.But I think in this case somebody SHOULD called me and warn about it.So in the end I got my money back but it wasnāt my CREDIT CARD.They gave me CARD which I can use in their spa and there is some money.BUT I never will come again in this place.Water in swimming pool was cold (in every pool!!) ,inside of the building also cold.And of course in restaurant you canāt enjoy food/drinks because you freeze.You canāt enjoy time in jacuzzi outside because water is cold,outside is of course also cold(because WINTER!!!). So Iām not surprised that I have a high fever after this āwonderful spaā. I really donāt know what nice has this spa...
