What a gorgeous place! 5/5 and even more! I am a huge fan of video games and I keep very good memories of my old games and consoles when I was a child. This is honestly one of the places I have ever seen to discover all the video games ever invented. The exhibition is very big, showing calculating machines to computers, with a lot of models. Every explanation is in Dutch but you can totally appreciate your visit by seeing the evolution of the gaming technology. This is not only a passive museum, but this place is also a true active exhibition which offers you the possibility to take the controller and give a chance to a lot of old (and not only) games. The first contact you will have will probably be with the NES and Duck Hunt (such a classic but using the NES gun and seeing that doggy laughing at you brought me twenty years ago). Then you would have the opportunity to test a lot of less famous, sometimes a bit strange but always very interesting devices... until arriving in the area of the 90s and 2000s with N64, PS1-2, and even at the end the actual consoles. One of the best aspects of this place is that everything is in a good state. Every console works perfectly, the controllers are connected, the game is each time directly playable and often you can change the game through a collection of several. That's almost sure some of your favorites would be available! And the last point, like a big surprise, is that the area proposes also an arcade games zone! They are classical, several can be played multiplayer and you can have a lot of fun ever here. Some technical points: the museum is not very close to the city center (a bus can bring you in over 30 minutes or easier a car) and the price is 15€ for the day or for the evening (we were on the evening session and we were alone, I felt so privileged to be there).

I first though it will be a museum for nerds, but it turned out to be a really cool one. I wouldn't say it is a real museum, more like a collection house. They have a LOT of stuffs from way back 1950s, from typewriter, punch cards, floppy disk, laser disc, rotating phone, even pong games, up until the latest gaming consoles like Nintendo Switch OLED and PS 5. The best part is you can play with a lot of these gaming consoles. It really feels like walking through time. They also have an arcade with a lot of games and pinball machines that can be played for free, a shop, and a small cafetaria. You can even go out and come back again during the same day (dont forget to get a stamp though). There were not many people, so we could play everything we wanted. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy games.

Disappointing/expensive. I was looking forward to going for a long time. However, It was more like a worn out arcade with a kringloopwinkel attached to it. Overly long introduction by an older gentleman describing the whole route..should have let us just walk around. The section devoted to old servers, adding machines and other sundry old electronica looked like the storage of a kringloopwinkel. Some descriptions were written on paper and not easy to read. The arcade part is composed of machines where some are old, some more recent. Nowhere is there an explanation of the development of computers in general or more specifically games consoles or arcade machines. For 15 euros per person I had expected a more professional and immersive experience. My daughter came away from it no wiser about the history of gaming machines, which is not what you expect when you go to a museum. On the plus side, they had an original space invaders game which I played end of the 1970's..ah nostalgia. There is an opportunit here,, with a bit of imagination, to make an exhibition that encompasses the evolution of computers leading to games consoles. Sadly, it's a bit...

Liebes Team: Macht weiter so! Das Museum ist großartig! .... [ENG - shorter version] We visited Zwolle in our little vacation in the Netherlands. And we found the Bonami Computerspel Museum there. So we decided to visit this museum too. And it was a very good decision!!! It is a very nice made and interesting place with friendly people and espacially a friendly owner. Talking in english is no problem. The museum has a lot of different things to see. The visit of the museum is a must for all retro-fans and even for those who are not retro fans or very intereseted in computers and stuff like game consols! The very best at this museum is, that you have the opportunity to test some of the very known old consoles and games at the museum. Even the arcades! All inclusive in the price for the tickets! By the way: Thank you for finding my battery which I lost there at my visit! :-) We will come back! I miss the museum right now!

Advice: Bring time with you, you won´t regret it! Team: Keep on your good and awesome work! The...
