Superior Swords — Attraction in Ōrākei

This is the second sword I've purchased from Superior Swords and I doubt very much it ill be the last. Truly excellent craftsmanship is evident in the detailed attention shown in everything from the scabbard, to the hilt, hand guard and, most important, the blade. Top quality, carbon steel, lovingly worked to reproduce a piece of history well worthy of the men whose lives depended on the weapon in their hand.

The staff could not be more helpful and, importantly, they will not promise something they are not sure they can deliver. If they say three weeks, they mean three weeks, but if for any reason there's some sort of delay, they will contact you - you don't have to chase them.

I realise I probably sound like I work for them, but I'm don't. I love swords and history and I've dealt with other outfits in the past. To be fair, most of them aren't so bad. It's just that Superior Swords are,...

Supposed to be made from 1095 steel. Has bent Imperfections along blade. Deep gouge on blade Handle is improperly added. Blade is not recessed into crossguard. Ragnorok is not an ideal blade. Positive is its sharp. Peining on pommell is very bad. Seems rushed.. Had a damascus bowie knife and a tool grade bowie knife both broke .quality of these products is very low..mamagemsnt has made many excuses about their product.i would not recommend purchasing anything from this company as they refuse to stand by their so called life time warranty.i have cheap chinese products that have lasted tens years with same usage. DO NOT BUY BLADES FROM HERE.you may be injured by the blades snapping off or major hunks break off the blade.buyer beware..they should be ashamed of themselves for...

I recently bought the Templar Arming Sword from Superior Swords NZ, and I’ve got to say, I’m really impressed. The build quality is solid, the balance feels great in hand, and the overall craftsmanship is excellent.

I also got it sharpened, and the edge is honestly amazing. I first tested it by opening a few packages I had ordered online some had thick cardboard and strong tape, and I barely had to apply any pressure. It just poked and slid through so smoothly. You can really tell the sharpening was done with care and precision.

Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase. It’s a beautiful sword, feels authentic, and clearly made by people who take pride in what they do....
