Located at the corner turnoff between Paihia and Kawakawa. Stopped at this little War Memorial Park to have lunch. Lovely grounds boarded with tall trees and with picnic tables. Provides carparking and a disability parking spot.

Couldn’t get off our tour bus due to the heavy rain but our guide spoke of its significance. From my perspective it looks like a great place to have a picnic in better weather 🌦️ with seating provided and amenities
