Foster Park — Attraction in Canterbury

Awesome park with extensive swings for kids. There are various kinds of slides, climbing and other stuff. The flying fox is great. The base is reinforced with rubber stuff which is excellent to avoid any accidental falls. There is huge rugby ground and hockey field. Opposite side you will find swimming pools. There is enough seating space if you get tired. Kids will have time of their life in the park. Great place to catch up with friends and family. Huge walking track for walking enthusiasts. There is enough free parking. You should be able to bring your own sports gear to play with kids but you wouldn’t need to as their is plenty for kids to keep...

Amazing new playground, well designed for kids of all ages. Very creative play equipment. Kids there have been very well mannered and play well together. There are sheltered benches to rest and a drinking fountain. Plenty of parking in the carpark. Location is great, just opposite the aquatic centre so we usually pop over for a swim after a play. We love this park! It's got something for all ages. Our nearly-3yo loves the train, the slides, and little whare. There's a good amount of shade (so hard to come by at playgrounds in chch), lots of parking, and it's easy to get to. We pack a picnic and plan to come for a couple of hours.
