Name: a pocket of spice, but you won't see this name at their banner. You only see the name as "Indian restaurant " who judge the customer based on ethnicity.

Placed an order though online, through their website. And been there in 20 minutes to pick. As soon I entered, I was approached by a stuff from counter. Told him, I m here to pick up my online order, order number #58. Stuff couldn't find anything- and asked me again. I repeated the order number and showed the email confirmation.

And he was asking me what's the customer name of this "door dash" order.

I was so annoyed to hear this, and was speechless. Unless I would straight change of mind and ask for refund.

I had the most amazing experience at Pocket Full of Spices in Christchurch! This review actually saddens me to write.. I really love the delicious food that we receive any time we purchase from a pocket full of spice - however, tonight as I was enjoying my curry, I felt something hard and sharp in my mouth. I pulled the item out and it was a plastic zip tie. I was shocked. Luckily, it had been dished into my bowl, and not my toddlers.. it could have been an absolute disaster.

I called the restaurant and explained what had happened. They offered to replace my meal (kind of them, and the least I would have expected, however no refund offered) and were very apologetic.
