Today I decided to take the kids I am babysitting out too QE2
At the counter I asked one off the girls if there was a long line for the slides as the youngest one didn't want to go off as she was scared of the slide and would need to wait for me. I said if It takes too long there is no point for me buying one. I got told the lines would be 5 minutes max so I bought me and the two older once tickets. The two older girls that went first stood in the line for over 15 minutes if not longer. I spend $5.60 and didn't go off it once as the lines where way to long. Very dissapointed!!! they should have been honest and not just make up a random number so that people will buy their stupid ticket.
We all wanted too go in the spa but it's only for 16+ so I asked if they can sit on the side only having their ankles in the water to which they replied "No adult pool only that are the rules" so we decided to go in the big pool to swim some lanes, the youngest one is 8 years old and wanted to wear one of the blue bands they use for aqua swimming as the pool is 2 meters deep and she wanted a cold dip aswell with her two older sisters so I put one on, not long after a life guard told us we can not wear the blue band in the lane next too the aqua swimming lane... even tho I explained that she wanted to wear it for safety (they had 30+ hanging on the bars) So they didn't care about her safety so had too take It of.... I find this highly inappropriate... even the life guard said that it was a ridiculous rule but some lady on the walky talky told him to inform us of the rules.
Clearly they dont care about safety nor about people like me who also want to enjoy a day swimming and going in the hot spa's after swimming in the kids pool for 1 hour. Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend. your better of going too jelly park or Graham Condon as you get worth for your money.
In conclusion I spend $40+ for a pool with ridiculously stupid rules that limits people like me and single parents to enjoy a day swimming with kids! This is the most kid unfriendly pool I have ever seen.
Definitely will not be returning...
ย ย ย Read moreThe lazy river is awful its too plain there play areas are far to small when there are crowds also more seating for parents would help out door eating area is fine but would be nice to have a indoor area that isn't the cafe so you can take your own food in to eat without having to go outside in the cold to eat after getting out of the water. Also see that parking isn't going to be free much longer that is awful to think you have to pay to swim and then also pay to park get a grip it takes a car to drive all the way up the drive to get there. It looks ok from the out side nice green grass its cool how there's a gym there for people that want to work out then have a swim. I definitely prefer the old one than the new...

No wave pool anymore, just a smaller "lazy river" and 2 small play pools. The hydrotherapy pool is great for doing physio, but there's no one there (or even advertising there) that you can book in with so it's like going to see your physiotherapist, but in the pool. So I got some exercises I could do in the hydrotherapy pool from my usual physio, but it's not the same if they're not there. I became a pool member for 11.33 per week (community service card discount), so I can go whenever I want and if all I can manage that day is 4 laps in the morning and 4 at night I don't feel like I've wasted $5+ each session, to basically be in the pool for a whole 6 minutes. Staff are always helpful. I do recommend avoiding public holidays (like labour day) especially with kids. There were up to 60minute delays to get into the kids pools and hydroslide. Haven't been in the sauna, don't want to, so can't...
