Chats Bar & Cafe — Restaurant in Christchurch

Came to Chats for a few drinks and relax and watch league today, absolutely great bar and anazing staff. Unfortunately they have Musical Bingo about 6.00 pm which is so bloody loud you can't have a normal conversation. There is no need to have the volume screaming out so loud. There seem to be a need for all entertainers to have their volume so loud, which is not actually necessary so everyone can enjoy their time at Chats. From experience a couple of weeks ago l spproached the a bar who were playing great music, but far to loud, and suggested they turn it down a lot. Result was everyone could talk, others still enjoysvthe music and then the danving happened and even people joined in and sung with the band. It turned into a fantastic night because the band listened. The band leader thanks me and agreed it made the night fantastic for the customers and also for them. Maybe oters could take note. It is quite SIMPLE, turn the volume down so everyone can enjoy...

Watch out Davina (indian young lady). That was the worst customer service ever!!!! She was pretty rude. I've never had that bad customer service anywhere else. I went there with my husband and friends ( all kiwis). She gave us a dirty look as a start, not even smile a little whole time, and start tidying up chairs with big noise right around the table we're sitting while we're trying to enjoy our beer (before 9pm on Saturday night. Not even close to the time for closing). We usually like this pub, but not this time with her attitude. We didn't enjoy the experience tonight at all!!! And I have to add this, she even yelled at us "thank you for the review!!!" When we're leaving... We're not gonna come back while she's working there. Really...

Down to the blaa. Chats suck. Over the years Chats was good with Paul. I was there today and the bar staff was unbelievable they served the wrong drink then lied. The bar staff was very unprofessional. The pour person whom needs to discuss the issue so help...
