Waltham Park — Attraction in Christchurch

Large fields great for sports taking your dogs for walks or play, yeah there's cats in the area but tell me an area that dosent have cats. The playground needs a good upgrade its pitiful roots growing underneath making soft spots and trip hazards. Not much for the kids to be entertained for long the skate bowl could do with more size to attract more people. Basketball hoop 1 is cool, but make it a full outdoor court. Lot of grass lookd for trees also and found a lot, this is a very interesting park, i noticed there were rugby posts there as well and there are usually people there using them, i notice waltham pool is very close as well and looks like a great place to swim when its hot so i would recommend going there in the summer time with your friends maybe even do a picnic there. and choose a sunny day for the...

Great place all day every day in the summer for picnics sport's and all round outdoor activities but Don't ever set foot in this park after dark not even to take a short cut or on a pushbike you'll be lucky to make it through without getting rolled for your shoes...
