St Leonards Bay — Attraction in Devonport-Takapuna

Normally only visited by locals, we discovered this place with the help of a geocache.

There are multiple stairs on the way down which are not light up at night. Make sure to bring a lamp or use your phone. The stairs can be slightly slipperry if it rains.

Best to visit at low tide since you can walk and see the rock cliff and little hidden spots underneath. Full of seashells, it's a nice place to bring kids so they can enjoy the search for...

Pleasant beach, alot stairs down to the foreshore so really for the more able bodied. Good mix of large sandy srea and rock areas consisting of tare of eroded mudstone and sandstone.
