Beachlands Wharf — Attraction in Franklin

Nice to swim at the beach in summer ☀and lovely to walk along coast especially during late afternoon or when the sun is setting 🌅and they have quite a cool playground for children. But council really needs to do some labour on the walkways on the beach especially through the bush leading back up to the road as they have really uneven stones (dangerous to walk especially for the elderly and small children as easy to trip or twist ankle and also almost impossible to walk with a pushchair-absolutley terrible!) and overgrown foliage and public toilets are disgusting...

I've only ever been here once, at night, to the boat club for a 50th. It was dark and I couldnt see a thing. Google KEEPS prompting me to rate this place, so here goes.. The drinks were cheap, the food was meh, the music was lame. The only guy who looked like he would be a good dancer was actually the worst and he turned out to be quite entertaining because of it. There were a few groups of drunk teenagers dotted around the vicinity being really really really not cool. I would definitely visit again if I had...

A very quiet spot to spend a quality time gazing to the sea while seagulls flying over the water to find food… I was working locally and this spot was my favorite during lunch breaks… never could get enough of it… Sunkist bay will be one of my favorite beach forever… there’s a playground and a public toilet around the corner… toilets...
