Stopped in for dinner while in Hamilton recently. Ordered the vegetable curry on rice. Nicely cooked with fresh veges but the 'curry' wasn't what I was expecting. I've encountered this before and it's more of a pale yellow liquid with a bit of heat but without the *real* yellow curry taste and aroma. Other than this the dish was ok and the service was good.

Very disappointed in Asian kitchen as they do not listen when your ordering food and rip you off when you ask for extras look at my “extra cheesy weezy” cost $8 for half a scoop of chips and couple bits of cheese

New to the area and Asian Kitchen was closest to my place. So.. I thought I'd check it out. Great fish and chips and asian cuisine

The Pork ried rice was yum. Not oily or burnt rice. Egg Fu Yong with pork was tasty. Eggs were cooked and not watery. Singapore noodles was real yum, more meat to noodles ratio that I like. Fish was a nice filet with a light batter and soft and crisp, and not oily and hard like usual. Chips were chips not the best but not the worst. Their aioli has I nice punch. Service was great. Asian woman was happy and chirpy. The cook was pretty fast and on to it. Tiny shop so most stand. Many just wait in their cars. Seats outside would be a suggestion but not a big deal. Will need to keep going and taste the rest of the menu, but for now first impressions are positive. Next il try the dumplings.. Cant...

New owner? Brought a fish burger. It was empty. A burger always starts with a meat patty. Then you add an extra like a fish or egg or bacon or steak or cheese... or ham and pineapple. Then you add your salad and sauce. I got a fish, tartare sauce. Wafer thin slice of tomato and 2 little pieces of steamed iceburg lettuce. That's a fish sandwich. Not a burger. Don't be stingy and cheap. Your customers deserve decent, quality fresh food and will pay. Your chips...

fish and chips purchased totaling approximately $9 for two pieces of Hoki and hot chips. The size of the fish was ridiculous. I’ll be going back to the takeaways on Te Rapa Straight. I informed the shop keeper and she persisted to argue with me that the size of the fish was decent ... the phone call ended with me calling her a not so nice word. I would not purchase further takeaways from this store, too expensive and lack...
