Braithwaite Park — Attraction in Hamilton

Beautiful spot! Great place for a walk. There are lots of dogs, some off leads. Alot of foot traffic during busy times. Please be aware most of cyclists expect walkers to move to let them pass rather than going around them. They will ring their bell if they have one. We found the bulk of them quite rude especially when you have children with you. There is no line dividing the path for walkers and cyclists. Also up on Totara Drive the cyclists also ride on the footpath. Which is quite inconsiderate and as I am aware bicycles are meant to ride on the road. The bridge across to Avondale and Flagstaff has always been a good spot to look at the views and a nice walk to the shops. Take care and be aware of your...
