Rex & Nikki's Eatery — Attraction in Hamilton

Undoubtedly, the best Asian/Chinese (and other style) gourmet take-away Restaurants in Hamilton...

The quality of food served is excellent, the huge quantity per dish for the minimal cost is unbelievable and they really are amazingly large portions, almost like each dish is packaged for two people... really! The Nasi Goreng is spicy delicious and authentically Indonesian/Malay flavours, the Egg Foo Yong is creamy, and filled to the brim with meats and veggies, and for a change Rex & Nikki's Snapper "Fush 'n' Chups" are THE Best in all of Hamilton. Perfection! YUMMM, making me hungry just thinking about them! Oh! the Steak in Black Bean is also out of this world rich and tasty too! Portions are HUGE!

Although they are almost constantly flat tack busy from opening to closing they are consistently welcoming and friendly, every single time I've either dropped-in unannounced or ordered by phone, nothing is a problem to these Professional Chefs... And better still, the hyper-efficient and friendly front-line staff always have a smile.

It's a long, long time since I had the opportunity to keenly recommend a Chinese based take-away Restaurant so extremely highly... Most others being about the 3 Star Average... Forget 5 Star Google Reviews... This team of super efficient crew and their delicious Chinese Cuisine is without question a well-deserved 10 out of 5.

Don't believe me, think I'm making it up... " The Proof is definitely in the pudding" ...Test my positive comments, go in and try them.. YOU WILL NOT be disappointed... Any and all Chinese or Malay dishes... AND DEFINITELY the Snapper and Chips... Perfectly cooked, light, deep golden crunchy batter and moist, super-fresh, real Snapper fillets.

EDIT - UPDATE Very cheap priced, often loads of deals and discounts available. The staff are also lovely. And there's Massive selection of food. However, their batter is rather bitter and I found their burgers very lacklustre and basic, particularly for the price. The food has noticeably gotten worse. This used to be our favourite place, but we've now had multiple order which were less than satisfying. With milkshakes being u blended, or flavourless. Burgers being bland and dry. Bitter tasting batter. The Wontons were tasteless, dry and very chewy. And the sweet and sour is very battery and not the same quality as it once was. This appears to be the only way to rate the Uber Eats delivery service. The driver failed to follow delivery instructions, and as you can see from the photo, left me (with my disability which limits my movement) how to figure out how to get my order inside without tipping it over. This is the last time I will add a tip prior to receiving the order.

I've ordered from Rex & Nikki's several times and while I found tonight's meal (sausages eggs and chips) a bit greasy for my tastes, it was still warm-ish by the time I managed to get it inside. Sorry that I can't just rate the delivery side, but I hope Uber Eats get...
