Read moreThe volume of assessments is way higher here compared to other NZ universities. Especially the papers in the bachelor of business degree. The papers MRKTG200 and MRKTG203 with Mark Kilgour have weekly discussion excersises, weekly tutorial excersises, weekly quizzes, reflection assignments, a test, and a group report with 2 components. It's borderline unmanageable when you're trying to also manage 3 other papers simultaneously. WMS need a better way of making sure lecturers aren't overworking the students. Also with those papers I mentioned, the lecturer doesn't let you use your laptop to take notes in class. Some papers are stuck...
