FOOD PARADISE 印度味道 — Restaurant in Hamilton

Thrilled to find an authentic Indian restaurant after a campus tour. This place it really needs an update it’s in a rundown building. The owner does not accept credit cards only New Zealand currency or NZ bank cards which is a huge inconvenience. After locating an atm and getting charged $7 in fees I give her the $23 she is asking for, for a plate of chicken curry and a stewed lamb dish with four drinks. The food was decent but the customer service was awful in the sense she didn’t try to explain anything to me given I obviously don’t understand the currency differences. Nor did she direct me to an atm or offer an alternative. Plus she also had two small children running in the back while trying to conduct business a bit distracting but hey to...

I enjoy the food here, but the prices have gone up 50% from when I first started buying here. The price for the chips and butter chicken sauce is far too expensive for what it is! Please lower prices back down, we are university students, not rich folks. Customers including me are not feeling happy with the raised prices.
