I would say this is one of the better access points to Kauri Point Centennial Park there are. It has a detailed map at the start and access to some of the better beaches. All of the beaches are beautiful but for a better view of the city go down the path to Chelsea. If it's rainy the path will be quite muddy but other than that you probably won't have to worry too much about it. I believe the path and all are up-kept by the community so be mindful of that when you're going there and don't mess anything up. It tends to be really quiet there and there aren't a lot of people which tends to make it very peaceful. It isn't the most special place but it's definitely a nice one. Kendell bay specifically has a nice tiny beach with two adjacent cliffs making the beach a p place to visit. The beach has a tire swing on a tree and plenty of seashells.
