This is the perfect place for a walk up the roadway (closed off for cars unless you apply for a gate code) that gets the heart rate up and lots of steps for leg strengthening .. I've seen people looping around several times.. then of course a full 360 degree views. Sunrise or sunset it's a special place to have on the east Bays doorstep.

I go jogging here (semi) regularly and it's a great spot. A nice path that goes all the way up to Pt England and connects to the walk there. Almost always other people on the path, dogs, cyclists etc and sports being played on the weekends. Great views of the estuary too. Often rowing/ boating out on the water.

Great alternative to nearby St Heliers or Mission May not too far from Most east & south suburbs, highly maintained park, public toilets are closed atm due to the current situation we face. Expansive grounds great for all sports. Also an excellent area for cycling.

A wonderful park & playground for the family, plenty of pohutakawa trees to climb, an easy walk along the a water, a massive playground with all the good stuff - big slides, fireman's pole, monkey bars, swings, flying fox etc. and a huge well kept field for sports. Toilets are clean as and there is clean drinking water, BBQ and they even have picnic tables under shade! Rather than few and placed in direct sunlight 😄...

Very family friendly park, would love it if it catered to toddlers as well. Love that there is a big space for everyone to run around with a ball or just to take the kids down to burn some of that extra energy off. Love that there is a toilet there also and a walk way if you wanted to just take your family or family pet down for a walk near the water. Kids love going along that path on...
